11,51 <br />1/2/73 <br />APPROVAL OF UNION AGREEMENTS - STREET DEPARTMENT <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried the Board approved a Memorandum of <br />Understanding between the Teamsters Local No. 364 and the South Bend Street <br />Department. Mr. Richardson requested that the term "Street Department" be <br />changed to "Bureau of Streets" in the documents to conform to the cabinet <br />set-up of departments. <br />CONTRACTOR AND EXCAVATION BONDS - REPORT FROM BUREAU OF ENGINEERING <br />A memo was received from the Bureau of Engineering wherein they state the <br />following bonds should be continued: <br />Lewis M. Wilder Continuation Certificate to 12/31/73 <br />Marion Hamilton & Sons, Inc. Excavation Bond to 1/l/74 <br />Slutsky-Peitz Plumbing & Heating Co., Inc. Excavation Bond to 1/l/74 <br />Louis W. Krueper Excavation Bond to 12/31/73 <br />Stanley E. Wesolowski Excavation Bond to W31/73 <br />Herbert H. Law Excavation Bond to 12/31/73 <br />Tiser Construction, Inc. Contractor's Bond to 12/31/73 <br />ri Asher Construction, Inc. Contractor's Bond to 1/1/74. <br />0 Steve P. Ross Contractor's Bond to 12/31/73 <br />Bob Frame Plumbing Heating Excavation Bond to 12/31/73 <br />Q Ivan E. Crofoot Contractor's Bond to 12/1/73 <br />U <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the continuances. <br />CONTRACTOR AND EXCAVATION BONDS FILED <br />The following Excavation and Contractor's bonds were filed with the Board <br />and upon motion made, seconded and carried, were referred to the Bureau of <br />Engineering for study and report: <br />Charles Kopsea and William Ipe Contractor's Bond <br />Industrial Sandblasting & Coating Co. Contractor's Bond <br />Nunemaker Construction Co. Contractor's Bond <br />B & G Construction Co., Inc. Contractor's.Bond. <br />Roseland Construction Co., Inc. Contractor's Bond <br />B &.G Construction Co., Inc. Excavation Bond <br />John Rensberger Plumbing & Heating Excavation Bond <br />Norman W. Collmer Excavation Bond <br />William Cinal Excavation Bond <br />WEIGHTS AND MEASURES REPORT . <br />Mr. Bert.Cichowicz, City Sealer, filed his report for the month of December, 1972 <br />and upon motion, made, seconded and carried, the report was ordered filed. <br />HOLIDAY SCHEDULE FOR 1973 <br />Mr. Sweeney presented for the Board's review a list of.the paid holidays adopted <br />by the County Commissioners for 1973. After a discussion of the union agreement <br />regarding paid holidays, a motion was made, seconded and carried that the matter <br />be set aside for further investigation. <br />REO_UEST FROM MR.
