1/2/73 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the appointment of Steve Wieger to the Fire Department, effective January 2, 1973. BUILDING DEPARTMENT - SUB -STANDARD DIVISION Mr. Isaiah Steed, Sub -Standard Director, appeared before the Board and matters pertaining to his Department were discussed. 1026-1028 E. Indiana Avenue Mr. Steed requested that this matter be withdrawn. 522 E. Ohio Street This being the date set for receiving bids for the demolition of the structure at 522 E. Ohio Street, the following bids were opened and read, after deter- mining non -collusion affidavits were in proper order: Michiana Builders $690.00 O'Neal Trucking Co. $575.00 Machinery Supply Co. $900.00 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the award was made to O'Neal Trucking Co. on their low bid of $575.00. 1912 S. Carroll and 302-_3.021__C_alvert Street This being the date set for receiving bids for the demolition of the structures at 1912 S. Carroll Street and 302-3022 Calvert Street, the following bids"were opened and read, after determining that the non -collusion affidavits were'in proper order: Machinery Supply Co. $1800.00 O'Neal Trucking Co. $1135.00 Michiana Builders $1100.00 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the award was made to Michiana Builders on their low bid of $1100.00. 412 E. Calvert Street This being the date set for receiving bids for the demolition of the structure at 412 E. Calvert Street, the following bids were opened and read, after deter- mining that non -collusion affidavits were in proper order: Michiana Builders $490.00 O'Neal Trucking Co. $835.00 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the award was made to Michiana Builders on their low bid of $490.00. REQUEST FROM SHERIFF BOLERJACK RE: PARKING SPACES ON MAIN STREET Mr. Richardson brought to the attention of the Board a letter he had received from Sheriff Bolerjack regarding providing of three parking spaces on Main Street for Police and Court business. After discussion of the matter, it was continued for one week upon motion duly made, seconded and carried. ADDENDUM TO JANITORIAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR MUNICIPAL SERVICES FACILITY The jail area having been left out of the specifications for janitorial services for the Municipal Services Facility, a motion was made, seconded and carried approving an addendum to the specifications covering the jail area. HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL - VACATION RESOLUTION NO.. 3371, 1972 - DEAN STREET Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board continued this hearing until Monday, January 8, 1972.
