96 <br />12/11/72 <br />202 East Pennsylvania .This being the date set bids were received <br />for the demolition of the structure at 202 East Pennsylvania Avenue. <br />Non -collusion affidavits were in proper order. The following bids <br />were opened and read: <br />O'Neal Trucking Company $1,496,00 <br />Machinery Supply 2,009:00 <br />B & J Demolition 2f300.00 <br />Michiana Builders 1,940:00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried the award was made to <br />O'Neal Trucking on its low bid of $1,496.00. <br />535 S. Taylor Street Mrs. Esther Littow appeared before the Board <br />and informed them she had men working on the house and it was all <br />done except the roof. The roof cannot be mended in this weather <br />and the men have to wait until better weather to do it. Upon motion <br />made, seconded and carried, this matter was continued indefinitely, <br />and Mr. Steed is to keep it under surveillance. <br />1122 Bissell Street Mr. Masterman of Homemaker's Finance appeared <br />before the Board and informed them most of the repairs are under <br />way and it should be finished by February 15, 1973. He is to re- <br />port to Mr. Steed when the house is completely rehabilitated. <br />140 North Shore Drive This matter was continued until April 1, <br />1973. <br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3370,1972 - HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL - <br />MERRY AVENUE <br />This being the date set for holding a hearing on the Assessment Roll <br />of Vacation Resolution No. 3370,1972, hearing is now hold for the <br />vacation of the streets and alleys in the Merry Avenue Urban Renewal <br />Area. <br />The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend <br />Tribune and the Tri County News on November 24, December 1 and Decem- <br />ber 8, 1972 and same were found to be sufficient. <br />No remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrances were filed. <br />upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Assessment Roll showing <br />no net damages and no net benefits was approved as adopted and said <br />Resolution in all things ratified and confirmed and said proceedings <br />closed. <br />LETTER FROM STATE BOARD OF HEALTH - GREENBROOK ESTATES <br />A copy of a letter from the State Board of Health to the County <br />Prosecutor, Mr. William Voor, was read by the Board. This was <br />inlreference to the water and sewer lines in the Greenbrooi Mobile <br />Home Park. Upon motion made, seconded and carried this was referred <br />to the Bureau of Engineering. <br />ACTION INC. <br />In kind vouchers for Fire Stations #10, #7 and #8 for the month of <br />December, 1972 were filed by A.C.T.I.O.N.
