12/11/72 <br />1] <br />1 <br />If the granted rate increases cannot be put into effect because of <br />applicable legislation, Executive Orders or Regulations dealing with <br />Wage and Price Stabilization, then such proposals, or any part thereof, <br />including any retroactive requirement thereof, shall become effective <br />at such time, in such amounts, and for such periods, retroactively <br />and prospectively as will be permitted by law at any time during the <br />life of this Agreement and any extension thereof. <br />1973 WAGE SCHEDULE <br />Truck Drivers $142.68 per week <br />Laborers $130.00 per week <br />This Amendment, subject to the above provisions shall be in full force <br />and effect from January 1, 1973 through December 31, 1973. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AND SAFETY OF THE CIVIL <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />BY: Charles A. Law Excavation Bond <br />Tiser Construction Contractor's Bond <br />JERRY VOGEL REQUEST FOR SALVATION ARMY <br />Mr. Jerry Vogel,1717 East Cedar Street, South Bend, Indiana, appeared <br />before the Board in behalf of the Salvation Army. He requested per- <br />mission to operate a coffee canteen in the vicinity of Michigan and <br />Jefferson Streets on Monday, December 18, 1973 between 6:00 and 9:00 <br />P.M. while the Salvation Army Booth is being operated. Upon motion <br />made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the request pending the <br />coordination of the Bureau of Traffic on the Location. <br />WEIGHTS AND MEASURES REPORT Mr. Bert Cichowicz, City Sealer, filed his <br />report for the month of November, 1972, and upon motion made, seconded <br />and carried, the report was ordered filed. <br />
