9 1 <br />12/4/72 <br />been shown by Mr. Forest West but violations occur on hit and miss <br />basis. <br />Parking of Semi -Trailers and storage of contracting type equipment <br />is not permitted on "B" residential lots. This equipment is heavy, <br />enough that it breaks up alley base and settles land adjacent to <br />alley and causes alley to wash away. <br />I am requesting the Board to issue a cease and desist order on this <br />operation by 0"Neal Trucking Company which is operating a demolition <br />contracting business at 843 S. Bendix Drive and also 848 Liberty <br />Street. <br />Sincerely yours, <br />s/ Walter T. Kopczynski <br />Sixth District Councilman <br />Mrs. 0"Neal was present at the meeting and said that a repair shop <br />parks trucks on the alley and street there, that the trucking company <br />does not. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, both letters were referred <br />4 to the Legal Department for appropriate action. <br />U <br />A memo from Walter Kopczynski regarding a complaint by Ernie <br />Witucki, on South Walnut Street was also received. The complaint <br />wat that weeds, debris and sumach growth interferes with pedestrians <br />using the sidewalk in the 700 and 800 blocks of South Arnold Street. <br />This too, was referred to the Legal Department. <br />CHANGE ORDER NO. G-4 MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, change order <br />G-4 for furnishing labor and material to repair rear wall of balcony <br />of the Morris Civic Auditorium by Aulm Construction Company, in the <br />amount of $2,106.00 was approved. <br />MEMO FROM FRANK KOLOSZAR <br />A memo from Frank Koloszar indicating that the debris and trash <br />the St. Joseph County Health Department reported at Lawton and <br />Meade Streets had been removed, was ordered filed. <br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3371,1972 ASSESSMENT ROLL FILED - DEAN STREET <br />William J. Richardson, City Engineer, files an assessment roll <br />showing the award of damages and the assessment of benefits in <br />Vacation Resolution No. 3371,1972 for the vacation of a part of <br />Dean Street. <br />The following property may be injuriously or beneficially affected <br />by such vacation: <br />John E.
