4 <br />9/25/72 <br />received, upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Assessment <br />Roll showing no net damages and no net benefits was approved as <br />adopted and said Resolution in all things ratified and confirmed <br />and said proceedings. closed. <br />ASSESSMENT ROLL HEARING VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3367,1972 - EDGEWOOD DRIVE <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the Assessment Roll in <br />Vacation Resolution No. 3367,1972 for the vacation of a 30' Street <br />known as Edgewood Drive, running North from Edison Road and located <br />adjacent to and immediately West of Lots 1, 9, 10 and 11 as shown <br />on the recorded plat of Robinvood Place. <br />The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend <br />Tribune and the Tri County News on September 8, September 15 and <br />September 22, 1972 and same were found to be sufficient. No remon- <br />strators having appeared and no written remonstrances having been <br />received, upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Assessment <br />Roll showing no net damages and no net benefits was approved as <br />adopted and said Resolution in all things ratified and confirmed <br />and said proceedings closed.. <br />VACATION OF ROSE STREET - AMENDED PETITION RECEIVED - ORIGINAL <br />PETITION STRICKEN FROM RECORD <br />Area Plan Commission files with the Board its favorable recommen- <br />dation on the Vacation of Rose Street on the original petition. <br />Comes now Edward Chapleau who files an amended petition for a part <br />of Rose Street and Cushing Street. Upon motion made, seconded and <br />carried, the complete proceedings had with reference to the vaca- <br />tion of Rose Street is now stricken from the record and the vaca- <br />tion proceedings are started over with the submission of .the amended <br />petition to the Engineering Department and the Area Plan Commission. <br />PETITION FOR THE VACATION OF MERRY AVENUE AND ALLEYS IN ARNOLD'S IST <br />ADDITION <br />A favorable recommendation having been received from the Engineering <br />Department, the petition is now referred to the Area Plan Commission. <br />REPAIRS TO MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM - ADVERTISE FOR BIDS <br />Mr. Richardson having informed the Board that the Morris Civic Audi- <br />torium was in need of .repairs to the roof, ventilator replacement <br />and electrical renovations, the Clerk is now directed to advertise <br />for bids in 'the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News, with <br />bids to be received on October 9, 1972. <br />NOTICE OF HEALTH DEPARTMENT - RAILROAD TIES <br />A notice was received from the St. Joseph County Health Department <br />relative to rotted railroad ties (Michigan Central R.R.) along <br />Leeper Avenue in the 1000 block in South Bend. Upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried, this was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and <br />Lighting for investigation and report. <br />NOTICE FROM HEALTH DEPARTMENT - WEEDS <br />A notice was received from,the St. Joseph County Health Department <br />regarding uncut weeds on several pieces of property. Notices were <br />sent by the Health Department, but weeds have not been cut. Upon <br />motion made,.seconded and carried, the matter was referred to the <br />Legal Department for appropriate action. <br />1 <br />1 <br />
