Barcome <br />ATTEST: <br />s/ Patricia DeClercq, Clerk <br />CHANGE OF DATE OF MEETING OF NOVEMBER 11 <br />Because the building will be closed on November 11, 1974 in obser- <br />vance of Veteran's Day, upon motion made, seconded and carried, <br />the regular meeting set for that date was scheduled ;for Tuesday, <br />November 12 at 1:30 p.m. <br />AGREEMENT - TOPICS PROJECT - INTERSECTION, BENDIX AND LINCOLNWAY <br />An Agreement with the Indiana State Highway Commission for Topics <br />Project TM 6000(8), for intersection improvements at Ardmore <br />Trail, Bendix Drive and Lincolnway West, was submitted to the Board. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the agreement was approved. <br />ENGINEER ASSIGNMENT - TOPICS PROJECT TM 6000(8) <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board designated <br />Patrick McMahon, Manager of the Bureau of Public Construction, as <br />Engineer for Topics Project TM 6000(8) for intersection improvements <br />at Ardmore, Bendix and Lincolnway West. <br />AGREEMENT APPROVED - SCHOOL CROSSING FLASHERS AND SIGNS <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved an agree- <br />ment with the Indiana State Highway Commission for the installation <br />of school crossing flashers and signs at various locations. <br />FILING OF REMONSTRANCE - HOMELAND ADDITION SEWERS <br />A petition of remonstrance against the Homeland Addition Sewer <br />project was transmitted to the Board by Attorney Joseph Ettl. A <br />check of the signatures was made and the petition contained the <br />signatures of approximately 70% of the affected property owners. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board abandoned the <br />sewer project. <br />RECOMMENDATION - PETITION OF O'BRIEN CORPORATION TO VACATE A <br />PORTION OF COLFAX AVENUE AND A NORTH -SOUTH ALLEY <br />The Board received a recommendation from the Bureau of Design and <br />Administration that the petition of the O'Brien Corporation to <br />vacate Colfax Avenue west of Jackson Street and the north -south <br />alley from Washington Street to Colfax 'Avenue, had been reviewed <br />and the Bureau had no objection to the vacation. Upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried, the Board filed the recomendation�and <br />referred the petition to the Area Plan Commission for their review <br />and recommendation. <br />
