REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 28, 1974 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the recommendation of the Legal Department.and the application of William Toles to operate a taxicab company was denied. PROJECT COMPLETION AFFIDAVIT AND ESCROW AGREEMENT APPROVED RIVERSIDE COURT CONDOMINIUMS The Board received a Project Completion Affidavit and an Escrow Agreement from Riverview Homes, Inc. for improvements in the Riverside Court Condominiums. The project is incomplete and the escrow agreement provides a letter of credit from the First Bank and Trust Company guaranteeing the money for the uncompleted portions of the project. .Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the Completion Affidavit for the completed portions of the work as outlined in the letter from Patrick McMahon, Manager, Bureau of Public Construction, and approved the Escrow Agreement and Letter of Credit from the First Bank & Trust Company guaranteeing the sum of $13,000 for the completion of the improvements." C� REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS - BUREAU OF FIRE UNIFORMS Assistant Chief Joseph V. Nagy, Bureau of Fire, sent a request to the Board to advertise for uniforms for the Fire Department for 1975. Specifications were attached. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board authorized advertising on November 1 and 8 with bids to be received on Monday, November 18, 1974. CHANGE ORDER - MEADOWVIEW SEWERS A Change Order for the Meadowview Sewer Project was submitted to the Board. The Change Order increased the contract by $1,266.40 and was for adjustments in as -built quantities. Upon motion made, seconded and carried the change order was approved. PROJECT COMPLETION AFFIDAVIT APPROVED MEADOWVIEW SANITARY SEWERS The Project Completion Affidavit for the Meadowview Sanitary Sewer project was submitted to the Board. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the completion affidavit was approved. ASSESSMENT ROLL FILED - MEADOWVIEW SANITARY SEWERS City Engineer Rollin E. Farrand filed with the Board the final assess- ment roll for the Meadowview Sanitary Sewers, authorized under Improvement Resolution No. 3382, 1973. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Assessment Roll was filed and the Board set Monday, November 18, 1974 at 9:30 a.m, as the time and place for hearing all remonstrances against the assessments.. VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3406, 1974 ADOPTED Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the following resolution was adopted: VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3406, 1974 RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana that it is desirable to vacate the following: Sunnymede Avenue from the west right-of-way line of 35th Street to the west line of Lots 7 and 18 of Jerome First Addition to the City of South Bend, as amended. Reserving the rights and easements of all Utilities and the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana, to construct and maintain any facilities, including, but not limited to, the following: electric, telephone, gas, water, sewer, surface water control structures and ditches, within the vacated right of way, unless such rights are released by the individual Utilities.
