REGULAR MEETING MAY 17, 1976 OPENING OF BIDS TIRE REPAIRS FOP: CITY VEHICLES This was the date set for receiving bids for tire repairs for City vehicles for the period from June 1, 1976 through May 31, 1977. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. Mr. Farrand noted that the Board had sought bids for tire repairs earlier but had rejected the bids and readvertised with notices sent -to -prospective bidders in an attempt to encourage more bidders. The following bids were opened and publicly read: Singer General Tire, Inc. Bid was signed by Merle C. Fahler, 312 N. OPENING OF BIDS.- CONTRACT 1 1976 CURB AND SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS This was the date set for receiving bids for Contract 1 of the 1976 Curb and Sidewalk Improvements for the following locations: Campeau Street, Eddy to Walsh; Sample Street, Chapin to Lafayette; Edison Rd., 200' E. of Rockne Dr. and Edison Road; York Road, Ireland & Orkney Court; Miami, Eckman to Altgeld; and Fairview Rush to Erskine. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. The following bids were opened and publicly read: Rieth-Riley Construction Co. P.O. Box 1775 South Bend, Indiana Bid: Campeau Street $14,623.00 Sample Street 59,195.30 Edison Road 2,966.00 Bid was signed by Richard D.
