REGULAR MEETING DECEMBER 8, 1975 <br />EASEMENT APPROVED - INDIANA BELL TELEPHONE COMPANY <br />An easement agreement with Indiana Bell Telephone Company was <br />submitted to the Board. David A. Wells, Manager, Bureau of_ Design <br />and Administration, explained to the Board that IndianaBellwill <br />be putting their installation underground in the area of the Ireland - <br />Miami Retention Basin. If this easement is granted, Indiana Bell <br />would not have to relocate their lines in the event Miami is widened <br />in the future. Mr. Wells recommended that the Board approve the <br />easement agreement. <br />EASEMENT APPROVED - NORTHERN INDIANA PUBLIC SERVICE CO. <br />An easement agreement with the Northern Indiana Public Service Company <br />was submitted to the Board. David A. Wells, Manager, Bureau of Design <br />and Administration said the Northern Indiana Public Service Company <br />has a high pressure line on Olive Street and. would like to set up <br />a regulator station at the corner of Linden and Olive. Mr. Wells <br />recommended that the easement be approved. Upon°motion made, <br />seconded and carried, the Board approved the easement. <br />OPEN AIR STAND APPROVED <br />The Board received an application from Michael Clifton to operate an <br />Open Air Stand at 741 Lincolnway East to sell Christmas trees. Mr. <br />Clifton submitted permission of the owner of the property to operate <br />the stand. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board <br />approved the application subject to purchasing of the City license. <br />BONDS APPROVED <br />Ray S. Andrysiak- Bureau of Engineering, reported to the Board that <br />the following bonds were submitted for approval and were in proper <br />form: <br />Contractor's Bond for John <br />Excavation Bond for Place <br />Contractor's Bond for Place <br />Excavation Bond for Charles <br />Excavation Bond for Albert <br />Contractor's Bond for Steve <br />Contractor's Bond for H. G. <br />Excavation Bond for Marion <br />Excavation Bond for Donald <br />Wright & Sons, Inc. to 12/31/76 <br />& Company to l/1/77 <br />& Company, Inc. to l/l/77 <br />F. Stickler to 12/31/76 <br />A. Spromberg to 11/30/76 <br />Barilich to 1/1/77 <br />Christman Construction Co. 60 12/31/76 <br />Hamilton & Son, Inc. to l/1/77 <br />D. White to 11/21/76 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried,, the Board approved the <br />bonds to the dates listed. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED <br />The Street Light Outage Report for the period of November 28 through <br />December 3 was received. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the <br />report was ordered filed. <br />REQUEST FOR STREET LIGHTING AND STREET SIGN 4600 S. MIAMI <br />Lloyd S. Taylor, Vice President of the St. Joseph Bank & Trust <br />Company, was present and submitted a letter to the Board requesting <br />that street lighting be installed on the new street installed by <br />Dr. Allen running west of the 4600 Block South Miami. He also <br />requested that a street sign be installed at the Miami intersection. <br />Mr. Farrand noted that Ralph Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of <br />Traffic and Lighting, is currently working on this installation. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the letter was ordered filed. <br />1 <br />
