REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 10, 1975 C BID ADVERTISING APPROVED - POLICE DEPARTMENT UNIFORMS Chief John H. Walsh, Bureau of Police, requested that the Board d vise for bids for uniforms and uniform equipment for the a ver Police Department for one year. Detailed specifications were attached. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the request and directed that the Clerk advertise for bids on November 14 and 21 with bids to be received on November 24. FILING OF ASSESSMENT ROLL - VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3421 Rollin E. Farrand, P. E., Civil City Engineer files an Assessment Roll for Vacation Resolution No. 3421, 1975 for the vacation of Iowa Street from the south right-of-way line of Prast Boulevard to the north right=of-way line of Westmoor Street and -also Kentucky Street from the south right-of-way line of Prast Boulevard to the north right-of-way line of Westmoor Street. The following property may be injuriously or beneficially affected by such vacation: Lot Nos. 131 and 182 and 183 in Westchester Second Unit. The Board finds that each of said lots have been benefited in :the amount of $0.00 and damaged in the amount of $0.00. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board filed the Assessment Poll and set Monday, December 15, 1975 at 9:30 a.m, as the time and the Board of Works Hearing Room, 1308 County -City Building, as the place where all persons interested in or affected by such vacation may be heard. BONDS APPROVED Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, reported to the Board.that the following continuation certificates for bonds had been properly executed and could be approved: Excavation Bond for B & G Construction to 12/31/76 Contractor's Bond for B.(,�G Construction to 12/31/76 Contractor's Bond for From Building Company to 12/31/76 Excavation Bond for Charles Nettrouer d/b/a Chuck and Sons Plumbing & Heating to 12/31/76 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the bonds were approved to the dates listed. BOND RELEASED Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, reported to the Board that a request had been received from the Surety Company underwriting the bond of Donald White to release the Excavation Bond in his name. Mr. Andrysiak said he reviewed the bond and found no reason the bond could not be released. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the bond of Donald D. White was released, effective December 5, 1975. CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE FILED - ZIOLKOWSKI CONSTRUCTION COMPANY A Certificate of Insurance for Ziolkowski Construction Company was submitted to the Board. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Certificate was ordered filed. CONTRACT APPROVED - RECODIFICATION OF CITY MUNICIPAL CODE A contract with the Municipal Code Corporation for a loose leaf supplement r.ecodifying the Municipal Code was submitted to the Board. Deputy City Attorney Kathleen Cekanski advised the Board that the City Attorney's Office had reviewed the contract and was recommending approval. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the contract with the Municipal Code Corporation, with the stipulation that the dollar amount of the contract not exceed $3200.00.
