REGULAR MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 10, 1975 <br />C <br />BID ADVERTISING APPROVED - POLICE DEPARTMENT UNIFORMS <br />Chief John H. Walsh, Bureau of Police, requested that the Board <br />d vise for bids for uniforms and uniform equipment for the <br />a ver <br />Police Department for one year. Detailed specifications were <br />attached. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved <br />the request and directed that the Clerk advertise for bids on <br />November 14 and 21 with bids to be received on November 24. <br />FILING OF ASSESSMENT ROLL - VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3421 <br />Rollin E. Farrand, P. E., Civil City Engineer files an Assessment <br />Roll for Vacation Resolution No. 3421, 1975 for the vacation of <br />Iowa Street from the south right-of-way line of Prast Boulevard to <br />the north right=of-way line of Westmoor Street and -also Kentucky <br />Street from the south right-of-way line of Prast Boulevard to the <br />north right-of-way line of Westmoor Street. The following property <br />may be injuriously or beneficially affected by such vacation: <br />Lot Nos. 131 and 182 and 183 in Westchester Second Unit. The Board <br />finds that each of said lots have been benefited in :the amount of <br />$0.00 and damaged in the amount of $0.00. Upon motion made, seconded <br />and carried, the Board filed the Assessment Poll and set Monday, <br />December 15, 1975 at 9:30 a.m, as the time and the Board of Works <br />Hearing Room, 1308 County -City Building, as the place where all <br />persons interested in or affected by such vacation may be heard. <br />BONDS APPROVED <br />Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, reported to the Board.that <br />the following continuation certificates for bonds had been properly <br />executed and could be approved: <br />Excavation Bond for B & G Construction to 12/31/76 <br />Contractor's Bond for B.(,�G Construction to 12/31/76 <br />Contractor's Bond for From Building Company to 12/31/76 <br />Excavation Bond for Charles Nettrouer d/b/a Chuck and Sons <br />Plumbing & Heating to 12/31/76 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the bonds were approved to the <br />dates listed. <br />BOND RELEASED <br />Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, reported to the Board that <br />a request had been received from the Surety Company underwriting the <br />bond of Donald White to release the Excavation Bond in his name. <br />Mr. Andrysiak said he reviewed the bond and found no reason the bond <br />could not be released. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the <br />bond of Donald D. White was released, effective December 5, 1975. <br />CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE FILED - ZIOLKOWSKI CONSTRUCTION COMPANY <br />A Certificate of Insurance for Ziolkowski Construction Company was <br />submitted to the Board. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, <br />the Certificate was ordered filed. <br />CONTRACT APPROVED - RECODIFICATION OF CITY MUNICIPAL CODE <br />A contract with the Municipal Code Corporation for a loose leaf <br />supplement r.ecodifying the Municipal Code was submitted to the Board. <br />Deputy City Attorney Kathleen Cekanski advised the Board that the <br />City Attorney's Office had reviewed the contract and was recommending <br />approval. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved <br />the contract with the Municipal Code Corporation, with the stipulation <br />that the dollar amount of the contract not exceed $3200.00. <br />
