JULY 18, 1975 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />benefited in the amount of $0.00 and have been damaged in the <br />amount of $0.00. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board <br />filed the Assessment Roll and set Monday, August 25, 1975 at 9:30 <br />a.m. as the time and the Board of Public Works hearing room as the <br />place where all persons interested in or affected by this vacation <br />may be heard. <br />RECOMMENDATION TO INDIANA STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION FOR ACCEPTANCE <br />OF BENDIX-ARDMORE-LINCOLNWAY WEST' INTERSECTION PROJECT APPROVED <br />The Board received a recommendation from the Director of Public Works <br />to submit the Bendix-Ardmore Trail-Lincolnway West intersection <br />project to the Indiana State Highway Commission for acceptance. Upon <br />motion made, seconded and carried, the recommendation was approved <br />and the request will be submitted to the Indiana State Highway <br />Commission. <br />ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 21 - SALE OF SCRAPPED VEHICLES <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the following resolution <br />was adopted: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 21, 1975 <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board of Public Works of the <br />City of South Bend, Indiana and the Police Chief of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana, that certain Police Department vehicles are not <br />in usable condition and have been scrapped by official action of the <br />Board of Public Works,and <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 186, Acts of 1967 of the Indiana General Assembly <br />permits the sale of personal property no longer needed or obsolete; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works of the <br />City of South Bend that the following described vehicles are not <br />in usable condition and have been scrapped: <br />1974 Matador 4S No. A4A15PN398017 Mechanics #672 <br />1974 Matador 4S No. A4A15PN398064 Mechanics #665 <br />BE IT, FURTHER, RESOLVED that said vehicles be sold at private sale <br />to Super Auto Salvage, 3300 South MainStreet, at a price of $200.00 <br />for each vehicle, or a total price of $400.00. <br />Adopted this 21st day of July, 1975. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />s/ Rollin E. Farrand to advertise for <br />bids for the remodeling of the loth, 12th, 13th and 14th floors of the <br />County -City Complex. Sealed bids are to be received on August 4, 1975. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the <br />request and the Clerk was directed to advertise on July 25 and <br />August 1. <br />[I <br />1 <br />
