FE REGULAR MEETING JULY 21, 1975 A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, July 21,.1975 with all members present. Deputy City Attorney Kathleen Cekanski was also present. Minutes. of the previous meeting were reviewed and approved. OPENING OF BIDS - CENTURY CENTER FOUNDATION WORK This was the date set for receiving bids for the Century Center Foundation work. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune and in the Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. The following bids were opened and publicly read: Carl J. Reinke & Sons, Inc. Bid was signed by Harold G. Reinke, non -collusion affidavit was in order and a 5% bid bond accompanited the bid. Bid - $282,501.00 Alternate A deduct $96,011.00 Alternate B deduct $28,039.00 Alternate C deduct $13,982.00 Alternate D deduct $51,370.00 Schumacher -Sons, Inc. Bid was signed by John P. Schumacher, non -collusion affidavit was in order and a 5% bid bond accompanied the bid. FILING OF ASSESSMENT ROLL - VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3416 Rollin E. Farrand, P. E., City Engineer, files with the Board an Assessment Roll for Vacation Resolution No. 3416, 1975 for the vacation of the south half of the first north -south alley east of Walnut Street, running from Western Avenue north to the first east - west alley. The alley being petitioned for vacation is also adjacent to and between Lots 73 and 74 in.the Commissioner's Sub. of Bank Out Lots 85 and 86. The Board finds that each of said lots have
