Wells, Manager of the Bureau of Design and Administration,
submitted a tabulation of bids received on September 19 for the
Prospect Street Sanitary Sewers. He noted that the apparent low
bidder at the time of bid opening, Taylor Construction Company, made -
an error in extension of a unit price. This is a Barrett Law
project and the engineer's estimate used to establish assessments
was $15,333.12. Mr. Wells recommended that, because of the time
of the year and the end of the Street Department paving season, the
City absorb the additional cost and award a contract to Marion
Hamilton. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner
and carried, the bid of Marion Hamilton & Son, Inc. of $17,223.40
for the construction of the Prospect Street sanitary sewers was
accepted.
PROJECT COMPLETION AFFIDAVIT AND LETTER OF CREDIT FILED
IRELAND WOODS, SECTION ONE
The Project Completion Affidavit for Ireland Woods, Section One
was submitted to the Board by John Leszczynski, Manager of the Bureau
of Public Construction.
