�2 <br />REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 6, 1977 <br />CHANGE ORDER #3 APPROVED - MODEL CITIES SEWER <br />Change Order No. 3 in the Model Cities Sewer Project was submitted to <br />the Board with the favorable recommendation of Patrick M. McMahon, <br />Director of Public Works, and John Leszczynski, Manager of the Bureau <br />of Public Construction. The Change Order reflects an increase of <br />$1447 in the contract and is for the reconnection of existing sanitary <br />sewer systems and water mains in the project area. Upon motion made <br />by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the Change Order <br />was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF TITLE SHEET - SAMBO'S SEWER <br />The title sheet approving the plans for sewer construction at the site <br />of Sambo's Restaurant, Western and Mayflower, was submitted to the <br />Board by David A. Wells, Manager of the Bureau of Design and Administra- <br />tion. The plans have been reviewed by the Division of Engineering <br />and they recommend approval of the title sheet. Upon motion made by <br />Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the title sheet <br />approving the plans for Sambo's Sewer was signed. <br />ORDER FOR PRELIMINARY PLANS FOR CREST MANOR SEWERS APPROVED <br />An!order for preliminary plans and cost estimates for construction of <br />sanitary sewers in Crest Manor, Sections One and Two, on Abshire and <br />Raleigh Drive was submitted to the Board. Mr. McMahon reported that <br />no petition from property owners has been received but this is the last <br />remaining area in the city where sewer construction has not been offered <br />to the property owners. Under this order, preliminary plans and cost <br />estimates would be prepared under Barrett Law procedures and the property <br />owners will be given a chance to approve or disapprove the project. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, <br />the Board approved the order to the Engineering Department for the <br />preparation of preliminary plans and estimates for construction of <br />sanitary sewers in Crest Manor, Sections One and Two. <br />TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES APPROVED <br />Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />submitted to the Board'his'recommendation for the following traffic <br />control devices: <br />A. Revise Yield Sign to Stop Sign, Northwest corner on Coquillard <br />at Madison. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. <br />Mullen and carried, the installation was approved. <br />B. Revise Yield Sign to Stop Sign, Southeast corner on Coquillard <br />at Cedar. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner <br />and carried, the installation was approved. <br />C. Revise Yield Sign to Stop Sign, Northeast corner on Woodside <br />at Twyckenham. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. <br />Mullen and carried, the installation was approved. <br />D. Installation of 15 minute parking zone, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 229 <br />North Olive Street. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded <br />by Mr. Mullen and carried, the installation was approved. <br />CLAIMS APPROVED <br />Michael L. Vance, City Auditor, submitted to the Board Claim Docket <br />Numbers- 15351 through 15744 and recommended they be approved Upon <br />motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the <br />Board approved Claim Docket Numbers 15351 through 15744 and directed <br />that checks for payment be issued. <br />1 <br />
