Common.Council approval would be required to <br />negotiate the sale of the lot for less than the offering price. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. Mullen, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, <br />the Board directed that Mr. Kintner be advised that the Board would <br />be willing to request Common Council approval for the sale of the <br />lot for less than the offering price if 11r. Kintner would agree to <br />a price of $750.00. <br />QUARTERLY REPORT FROM GOODWILL INDUSTRIES FILED <br />A quarterly report'from Goodwill.Industries, Inc., outlining services <br />performed under terms of the contract with the City of South Bend, <br />was submitted to the Board. The report indicated the number of <br />interviews, evaluations, tests, counseling sessions and job placements <br />in the quarter ending June 30, 1977. Upon.motion made by Mr. Mullen, <br />seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the report was ordered filed. <br />STREET DEPARTMENT CLEAN-UP CREW REPORT FOR JUNE FILED <br />The report of the Street Department Clean -Up Crew for the month of <br />June was filed. The report listed the number of properties cleaned <br />during the month, the number of loads dumped and the environmental <br />complaints serviced. Upon motion made by Mr. Brunner, seconded by <br />Mr. Mullen and carried, the report was ordered filed. <br />RIVER BEND PLAZA APPLICATION APPROVED <br />Mary Kay Huszar, Director of <br />an application from the Two <br />Plaza on July 15, along wit <br />BONDS APPROVED <br />h <br />Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, reported to the Board that <br />bonds for the Americana Realty Corporation and Edward Jerzak, Jr. <br />had been properly executed and could be approved. Upon motion made <br />by Mr. Mullen, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the bonds were <br />approved, effective July 11, 1977. <br />CLAIMS APPROVED <br />Walter F. Lantz, Deputy City Controller, and Michael L. Vance, <br />City Auditor, submitted to the Board Claim Docket Numbers 11432 <br />through 12300 and recommended approval. Upon motion made by Mr. <br />Mullen, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the Board approved <br />Claim Docket Numbers 11432 through 12300 and directed that checks <br />for payment be issued. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED <br />The Street Light Outage report for the period of July 5 through July <br />8 was received. The report indicated eighty-one outages. Upon <br />motion made by Mr. Mullen, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried,the <br />report was ordered filed. <br />BLOCK PARTY APPROVED - 500 OSTEPZO PLACE <br />Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />advised the Board that he had reviewed the request of Susan Hendricks <br />to close the 500 block Ostemo Place on Sunday, July 17 from 1:00 p.m. <br />until dark for a block party and he recommended approval of the closing <br />
