Jefferson Boulevard. Mr. Wadzinski reported to the Board
that he would not recommend approval of placing any sign at the
corner of St. Joseph and Jefferson Streets, since it was his feeling
that no signs directing motorists against the flow of traffic of
the one-way system should be permitted. Regarding the sign presently
posted on the west corner wall of the Parking Garage, Mr. Wadzinski
noted that it is deteriorated but said he had no objection to the
sign provided it did not, attempt to direct traffic against the normal
flow, or imitate or appear similar to any traffic control device or
sign. Upon motion made by Mr. Brunner, seconded by?Mr. McMahon
and carried, the Board denied the request to place a sign on the
Jefferson Street Parking Garage at the corner of St. Joseph and
Jefferson Street and referred the request for continued placement of
an existing sign on the west corner wall of the Parking Garage to
the Controller's Office for preparation of an agreement between the
City and Kwik Print for payment of a fee for the use.of the Jefferson
Street Parking Garage wall for display of the sign.
MOTORCYCLE RIDE FOR NATIONAL PARAPLEGIA FOUNDATION APPROVED
Ralph J.
