REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 4, 1976 74 4 REPORT FROM AREA PLAN COPa7ISSION ON PETITION TO TACATE A PORTION OF SPRUCE STREET The Board received a report from the Area Plan C< public hearing was held on the petition of S1utsP Company to vacate a portion of Spruce Street frog way line of Washington Street 165 feet south to 1 line of the east -west alley south of Washington South Bend. The Plan Commission recommended the to the Board, subject to=the vacation of the nori located immediately south of Spruce Street. Subsequently, William J. Richard County Engineer, advised the Board that he concu signals were needed but said the intersection wa and the installation should be made by them. Mr the request went to the LaPorte District of the Commission in November and was probably received scheduled for their December meeting.
