The Board approved and <br />signed the contract for which they had earlier accepted the bid. <br />ESCROW AGREEMENTS FOP. CENTURY CENTER APPROVED <br />Escrow Agreements with A..Hartke & Son Co., Inc. for. Contract 028, <br />Painting and Finishing,.were submitted to the Board. Mr. Farrand <br />explained that these are standard escrow agreements as approved <br />by the Board for other Century Center contractors and providethat <br />the Cite put the retainage from the contracts into an escrow <br />account so it draws interest. Upon motion made by Mr. Farrand, <br />seconded by Mr. Brunner_ and carried, the escrow agreements were approved. <br />HOLIDAY SCHEDULE FOR BUREAU OF SOLID WASTE FILED <br />Joseph Kuminecz, Manager of the Bureau of Solid Waste, advised <br />the Board that the regular schedule will be collected by his <br />Department for the week of Election Day, November 2 and Veteran's <br />Day, November 11 and all routes will be picked up on the regular day. <br />Mr. Farrand made a motion that the report be filed. Mr. Brunner <br />seconded the motion and it carried. <br />RIVER BEND PLAZA APPLICATIONS APPROVED CONDITIONALLY <br />Ronald Bock, Director, River Bend Plaza, submitted to the Board <br />applications for the Christmas Festival on .November 20 on the Plaza, <br />along with his favorable recommendation: <br />A. Girl Scout Troop #518 - Sale of Christmas Ornaments <br />Upon motion made by Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Brunner and <br />carried, the Board approved the applications subject to securing <br />the necessary licenses and filing of insurance where applicable. <br />
