1'7 REGULAR MEETING Public Parking Facility Tower Federal Savings & Loan (southeast corner of Washington and William). JUNE 7. 1982 First United Methodist Church (300 blk. N. Lafayette) Mr. Kernan advised that the appropriate certificates of insurance were filed and no fire prevention devices were Irequired for open, flat parking lots as was required in the parking garages. Upon a motion made by Mr. Kernan, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the license applications were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance. Open Air Stand Jim Frick 4531 S. Michigan (Ford's Dairy Queen lot) Richard Traxler 1007 Lincolnway West (gas station lot) C9 Mr. Kernan noted that permission for the open air stand licenses was requested for the above two locations for the sale of fire- d[ works. He noted that a favorable recommendation for issuance of the license had been received concerning zoning by the Building Department; sufficient off-street parking by the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting; and the Police Department. He stated that an inspection would be conducted by the Fire Prevention Bureau once the stands were in operation to make certain that the fireworks being sold were considered legal fireworks in Indiana. Upon a motion made by Mr. Kernan, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the license applications were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance. Open Air Stand Cristela Rivera (sale of hot dogs) 2118 W. Western James and Lori Gesto (fruits and vegtables) Vacant lot at Logan and Jefferson - northwest Mr. Kernan stated that the necessary approvals for the above applications had been received; however, an inspection by the Health Department would need to be conducted once the stands were in operation to make certain the sale of the food items and produce was in accordance with local health laws. Upon a motion made by Mr. Kernan, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above license applications were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance. FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS A list containing 36 lots ordered cleaned by the Director of the Neighborhood Code Enforcement Office was submitted. It. was noted that property owners had been advised to clean up the lots and had failed to do so. Upon a motion made by Mr. Kernan, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the environmental list was filed. APPROVE CONTRACTORS' BONDS Mr. Ray S. Andrysiak recommended approval of the following Contractors' Bonds: Dale Bollenbacher (retroactive to May 26, 1982) James L. Briggs, II (retroactive to June 1, 1982) Willie Crumbley (retroactive to June 1, 1982) Joseph R. Roskuski (retroactive to June 3, 1982)
