250 REGULAR MEETING MARCH 29, 1982 APPROVE SALE OF DAFFODILS - AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY A similar request from Mr. Greg Dupuis, Area Director of the American Cancer Society, 212 South St. Peter Street, for permission to sell daffodils on April 2 and 3, 1982, as a method of raising funds and promoting hope and courage for cancer patients, was received. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the request was approved for the sale of the . flowers on the public sidewalks throughout the city. APPROVE ST. JOSEPH RIVER RUN In a memo to the Board, Mr. Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, recommended the Board approve the request of the Michiaaa Watershed to conduct the annual St. Joseph River Run on Saturday, May 15, 1982, beginning at Leeper and Veterans Memorial Parks at 11:00 a.m, and 1:00 p.m. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the request was approved, and also approved was the closing to traffic of Riverside Drive from Lafayette through the park to Bartlett. It was noted that the closing of Bartlett Street from Michigan to Riverside Drive would be at the Police Department's discretion. APPROVAL OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES The Bureau of Traffic and Lighting recommended the approval of the following traffic control devices: RELOCATION OF NO PARKING - PASSENGER LOADING ZONES, NO PARKING - BUS ZONE 8 AM - 4 PM - East side of Greenlawn from McKinley to Colfax, N.P.P.L.Z., from McKinley south approximately 440' No Parking Bus Zone - from 440' south of McKinley to Colfax. REVISE TO 30 MINUTE PARKING 6 AM - 6 PM - South side of 2300-2400 Mishawaka Avenue. REVISE TO STOP SIGN - On York at Kern. REMOVE 15 MINUTE PARKING 6 AM - 6 PM - 402 E. South St. REVISE TO 2 HOUR PARKING 6 AM - 6 PM - East side of north one-half of 500 N. Michigan. REMOVE NO PARKING THIS SIDE - South side of 300 LaMonte Terrace. INSTALL NO PARKING - 719 N. Notre Dame Avenue. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the above traffic control devices were approved. FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS A list containing 31 lots ordered cleaned by the Director of the Neighborhood Code Enforcement Office was submitted. It was noted that property owners had been advised to clean up the lots and had failed to do so. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the environmental list was filed. APPROVE TITLE SHEET - KENSINGTON FARMS EAST P.U.D. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the title sheet for sanitary and storm sewer and street work on Bayswater Place, Stonehedge and Landsdown Streets in Section 3, Part 1 of Kensington Farms East P.U.D. was approved and signed.
