232 REGULAR MEETING MARCH 15, 1982 WHEREAS, the Board of Park Commissioners believes that it is in the-City's best interest that the facility be occupied and maintained to prevent deterioration and vandalism of said facility; and WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works has given notice pursuant to I.C. 5-3-1 and has conducted a public hearing on the desirability of offering the Storyland Zoo facility for lease to a not -for -profit organization which will use and maintain said property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: 1. That recommendation be made to the Mayor that the lease of said facility be approved. 2. That a lease for use and maintenance of said property be advertised and negotiated pursuant to I.C. 36-1-11. Adopted this 15th day of March, 1982. BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS s/ John E. Byers, Clerk AWARD BID - GASOLINE AND FUEL OIL Mr. Leszczynski advised that Mr. Sean Watt, Director of the Division of Transportation, had reviewed the gasoline and fuel oil bids received and opened by the Board on March 8, 1982, and recommended that the following low bids meeting specifications be awarded: Berreth Oil, Inc. Unleaded Gasoline - tank wagon $.905/gallon .950/gallon .935/gallon .946/gallon .996/gallon .880/gallon .929/gallon .7846/gallon 1.012/gallon Mr. Leszczynski stated that no recommendation was being made at this time for purchase of gasohol or regohol. Upon a motion made. by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried the above low bids as recommended by Mr. Watt were approved and awarded. 11
