REGULAR MEETING 221 I 1 APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES MARCH 1. 1982 Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the following traffic control devices were approved: REMOVE 15 MINUTE PARKING (EXCEPT SUNDAY) 2921 W. Sample REMOVE NO PARKING -PASSENGER LOADING ZONE - 1530 E. Jackson (Hamilton School) APPROVE ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS A request was received from the Neighborhood Code Enforcement Office for permission to have city environmental crews clean the following lots within the city: 810 Camden 172 Concord 601 S. Carlisle 4318 W. Washington It was noted that property owners had been advised to clean up the above lots and had failed to comply. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the request was approved. APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATIONS Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the following license applications for Rubbish and Garbage Removal were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance: Jessie Love - 309 South Iowa William Cowan - 56150 Butternut Road Tom Swinson - 615 Wenger It was noted that the vehicles used for the hauling of rubbish and garbage had been inspected by Loren Dyas of the Solid Waste Bureau and were found to be in order. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the Secondhand Dealer's License for The Garage Sale, 1609 Miami Street, was approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance. It was noted that favorable reports had been received from the Police Department, Fire Inspection Bureau, Building Department and Bureau of Traffic and Lighting. APPROVE HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the following handicapped parking permits were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance: Stanley Osowski, 818 S. Dundee, S.B. John F. Knapik, 50905 N. Michigan, S.B. Mary E. Ehman, 910 E. Sorin, S.B. Robert R. Smith, 1001 Mayflower, S.B. James Batalis, 918 N. Allen, S.B. Katherine E. Szlanfucht, 1206 Victory, S.B. Durwood Meyers, 1013 E. Irvington, S.B. Irene Stanz, 2107 Rockne, S.B. FILING OF STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT The report indicated a total of three outages for the period of February 20 through 23, 1982. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the report was filed.
