REGULAR MEETING <br />221 <br />I <br />1 <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />MARCH 1. 1982 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the following traffic control devices were approved: <br />REMOVE 15 MINUTE PARKING (EXCEPT SUNDAY) 2921 W. Sample <br />REMOVE NO PARKING -PASSENGER LOADING ZONE - 1530 E. Jackson <br />(Hamilton School) <br />APPROVE ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS <br />A request was received from the Neighborhood Code Enforcement <br />Office for permission to have city environmental crews clean <br />the following lots within the city: <br />810 Camden 172 Concord <br />601 S. Carlisle 4318 W. Washington <br />It was noted that property owners had been advised to clean up <br />the above lots and had failed to comply. Upon a motion made by <br />Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the request <br />was approved. <br />APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATIONS <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the following license applications for Rubbish and <br />Garbage Removal were approved and referred to the Deputy <br />Controller's Office for issuance: <br />Jessie Love - 309 South Iowa <br />William Cowan - 56150 Butternut Road <br />Tom Swinson - 615 Wenger <br />It was noted that the vehicles used for the hauling of rubbish <br />and garbage had been inspected by Loren Dyas of the Solid Waste <br />Bureau and were found to be in order. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the Secondhand Dealer's License for The Garage Sale, <br />1609 Miami Street, was approved and referred to the Deputy <br />Controller's Office for issuance. It was noted that favorable <br />reports had been received from the Police Department, Fire <br />Inspection Bureau, Building Department and Bureau of Traffic <br />and Lighting. <br />APPROVE HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill <br />and carried, the following handicapped parking permits were <br />approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for <br />issuance: <br />Stanley Osowski, 818 S. Dundee, S.B. <br />John F. Knapik, 50905 N. Michigan, S.B. <br />Mary E. Ehman, 910 E. Sorin, S.B. <br />Robert R. Smith, 1001 Mayflower, S.B. <br />James Batalis, 918 N. Allen, S.B. <br />Katherine E. Szlanfucht, 1206 Victory, S.B. <br />Durwood Meyers, 1013 E. Irvington, S.B. <br />Irene Stanz, 2107 Rockne, S.B. <br />FILING OF STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT <br />The report indicated a total of three outages for the period of <br />February 20 through 23, 1982. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the report was <br />filed. <br />
