1 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />OCTOBER 26, 1981 <br />REVISE TO NO PARKING TOW ZONE - South side of 3700 W. <br />Sample from Main Entrance Gate to Torrington to a <br />point approximately 200 feet westerly. <br />REVISE TO NO PARKING, PASSENGER LOADING ZONE - South <br />side of 3600-3700 W. Sample from E.P.L. of Torrington <br />Plant, westerly to Main Entrance Gate (except 50' <br />East of Main Entrance Gate). <br />REMOVE NO PARKING FIRE LANE TOW ZONE - 100 N. Michigan <br />(W.S.O. Street) <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the above traffic control devices were approved. <br />REQUEST TO PURCHASE CITY -OWNED PROPERTY <br />A letter was received from Mr. Gregory L. Richard, 1703 Enchanted <br />Forest, inquiring into the possible purchase of city -owned property <br />located at 614, 618 and 622 South Rush Street. It was noted that <br />Mr. Richard was attempting to move an historic house from the <br />Monroe -Sample Development Area, located at 704-706 Rush Street, <br />north on Rush to the city -owned properties. Upon a motion <br />made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the <br />above request was referred to the various city agencies for a <br />determination as to whether or not the properties need be <br />retained by the city for any reason. <br />APPROVE ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS <br />A request was received from the Neighborhood Code Enforcement <br />Office for permission to have city environmental crews clean <br />the following lots within the city: <br />3103 Western <br />2nd lot S. 210 N. Wellington <br />Lot S. of 201 N. Wellington <br />726 E. Washington <br />525 S. 25th <br />315-317 Stull <br />720 Pierce <br />134 E. Pennsylvania <br />126 E. Pennsylvania <br />It was noted that property owners <br />the above lots and had failed to <br />Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. <br />was approved. <br />516 S. Olive <br />1314 W. Upon a motion made by <br />Hill and carried, the request <br />APPROVE HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMIT <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the following handicapped parking permit was approved <br />and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance: <br />Anna M. Doyle, 1230 E. Fairington, Apt. 108 <br />FILING OF STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT <br />The report indicated a total of 12 outages for the period of <br />October 12 through October 20, 1981. Upon a motion made by <br />Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the report <br />was filed. <br />APPROVE CONTRACTOR'S BOND <br />Mr. Ray S. Andrysiak and Mr. David A. Wells of the Engineering <br />Department recommended approval of the Contractor's Bond of <br />David W. Goodrich. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, <br />seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above Contractor's Bond <br />was approved. <br />
