1 REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 26, 1981 REVISE TO NO PARKING TOW ZONE - South side of 3700 W. Sample from Main Entrance Gate to Torrington to a point approximately 200 feet westerly. REVISE TO NO PARKING, PASSENGER LOADING ZONE - South side of 3600-3700 W. Sample from E.P.L. of Torrington Plant, westerly to Main Entrance Gate (except 50' East of Main Entrance Gate). REMOVE NO PARKING FIRE LANE TOW ZONE - 100 N. Michigan (W.S.O. Street) Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above traffic control devices were approved. REQUEST TO PURCHASE CITY -OWNED PROPERTY A letter was received from Mr. Gregory L. Richard, 1703 Enchanted Forest, inquiring into the possible purchase of city -owned property located at 614, 618 and 622 South Rush Street. It was noted that Mr. Richard was attempting to move an historic house from the Monroe -Sample Development Area, located at 704-706 Rush Street, north on Rush to the city -owned properties. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above request was referred to the various city agencies for a determination as to whether or not the properties need be retained by the city for any reason. APPROVE ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS A request was received from the Neighborhood Code Enforcement Office for permission to have city environmental crews clean the following lots within the city: 3103 Western 2nd lot S. 210 N. Wellington Lot S. of 201 N. Wellington 726 E. Washington 525 S. 25th 315-317 Stull 720 Pierce 134 E. Pennsylvania 126 E. Pennsylvania It was noted that property owners the above lots and had failed to Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. was approved. 516 S. Olive 1314 W. Liston Lot W. of 1402 105 S. Iowa 2511 W. Ewing Lot across from 1319 E. Dubail 613 N. Diamond 619 S. Rush E. Jefferson 1806 N. Elmer had been advised to clean up comply. Upon a motion made by Hill and carried, the request APPROVE HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMIT Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the following handicapped parking permit was approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance: Anna M. Doyle, 1230 E. Fairington, Apt. 108 FILING OF STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT The report indicated a total of 12 outages for the period of October 12 through October 20, 1981. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the report was filed. APPROVE CONTRACTOR'S BOND Mr. Ray S. Andrysiak and Mr. David A. Wells of the Engineering Department recommended approval of the Contractor's Bond of David W. Goodrich. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above Contractor's Bond was approved.
