36 REGULAR MEETING AUGUST 10, 1981. The reports of the Area Plan Commission, Community Development Department and Engineering Department indicated that there were no objections to the proposed vacation. Upon a motion made by Mr. Hill, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the reports were filed and Vacation Resolution No. 3512, 1981, was adopted and set for public hearing on August 31, 1981. APPROVE ADVERTISING FOR BIDS CURB AND PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENTS ON CLEVELAND AND VAN BUREN (NHS PROJECT) Mr. Neil Shanahan, Manager of the Bureau of Public Construction, requested permission to advertise to receive bids for curb and pavement improvements on Cleveland Street and Van Buren, under the NHS project funded through Community Development. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the request was approved, with bids to be received by the Board at its meeting to be held on August 31, 1991. APPROVF ADVERTISING FOR BIDS - REROOFING OF FIRE STATIONS NO 7 AND 10 Mr. James Markle, Building Commissioner, requested permission to advertise to receive bids for the reroofing of Fire Station No. 7 at 1616 Portage Avenue, and Fire Station No. 10 at 308 West Ireland Road. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the request was approved, with bids to be received by the Board at its meeting to be held on August 31, 1981. FILING OF ASSESSMENT ROLL - VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3511, 1981 (ST. JOSEPH'S HOSPITAL) John E. Leszczynski, City Engineer, filed an Assessment Roll with respect to Vacation Resolution No. 3511, 1981, for the vacation of the north nine feet of the south half of Lot Numbered 286 Cottrell's Addition to the Town of Lowell, now a part of the City of South Bend. The following property may be injuriously or beneficially affected by such vacation: Lots 285, 286 and 287, Cottrell's Addition to Lowell, City of South Bend. The Assessment Roll lists $0.00 net damages and $0.00 net benefits to the abutting properties. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the Assessment Roll was filed and set for public hearing on September 14, 1981. FILING OF PETITION TO VACATE WELLINGTON ST. (LaSALLE SQUARE ASSOC.) A petition was submitted by LaSalle Square Associates for the vacation of Wellington Street between Ardmore Trail and Prast Boulevard. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the petition was referred to the Area Plan Com- mission, Community Development Department and the Engineering Department for preliminary review and recommendation. APPROVAL OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the following traffic control devices were approved as recommended by Mr. Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting: REMOVE 30 MINUTE PARKING - 1134 Mishawaka Avenue. REVISE TO 2 HOUR PARKING 6 AM - 6 PM - 803-05 Lincolnway West.
