REGULAR MEETING JULY 13, 1981 FILING OF REMONSTRANCE RE: PARKING LOT OF APOSTOLIC TEMPLE CHURCH A remonstrance was submitted signed by numerous residents in the vicinity of the Apostolic Temple Church, most of whom resided in the 1900 block of Fox Street. The residents were opposed to the arrangements for exiting from the parking lot because of the danger caused to children on the through access drives to their property; because of the drastic change in the original landscaping; and because of inadequate drainage from the lot. Upon a motion made by Mr. Kernan, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the remonstrance was referred to the Engineering Department for review of the parking lot project with officials of the church in an attempt to alleviate and resolve those problems and concerns brought to the attention of the Board. APPROVAL OF REQUEST FOR TEMPORARY TRAILER (PLAYLAND GOLF COURSE) A request from Nunemaker Construction Company for permission to locate a temporary office/sales trailer on the Playland Golf Course for a period of approximately six months commencing on July 20, 1981, was received by the Board. Mr. Leszczynski noted that the Building Department and the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting had no objection to the location of the temporary trailer, provided that no additional access or drive approach was constructed on Lincolnway East from the parking lot. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the request was approved, with the restriction that no additional access be made on Lincolnway East, and referred to the Building Department for issuance of the appropriate permit. JOSEPH HOSPITAL ROAD RUNS - OCTOBER 18, 1981 A request from St. Joseph's Hospital for permission to conduct two foot races on Sunday, October 18, 1981, beginning at 1:00 p.m., centering around Century Center and the new Marriott Hotel, was received. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the request was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and the Police Traffic Division for review and recommendation. REQUESTS FOR BLOCK PARTIES Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the following requests for block parties were referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and the Police Traffic Division for review and recommendation: July 25th - 1200 block Terrace Court, from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. July 26th - 1800 block Marine Street (Randolph to Calvert), from 10 a.m, to 10 p.m. August lst - alleys surrounding William Penn Club building at 1024 West Indiana, starting at 12 noon. August 8th - 2313 Hollywood Place to 2421 Hollywood (or 2313 Hollywood to 2433 Hollywood), from noon to 9 p.m., August 16th - portion of Assumption Drive, from 12 noon to.10 p.m.
