APPROVE REQUEST TO USE TEMPORARY OFFICE TRAILER -
RAY'S AUTO SALES, 2502 SOUTH MICHIGAN STREET
Mr. Leszczynski advised that Mr. Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager,
Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, and Mr. Paul Roelke, Building
Commissioner, have reviewed the request of Mr. Cecil R. Smith,
11171 McKinley Highway, Osceola, Indiana, submitted to the
Board on September 26, 1983 regarding the use of a temporary
trailer at the above address and recommend approval. Mr.
Wadzinski stated that he had no objections subject to the
approval of access to the lot. Mr. Roelke stated that the
trailer must be put on temporary foundation approved by the
Building Department. All sides of the trailer must be
located 20' from the property line due to construction
-
of the trailer. Mr. Leszczynski.recommended that the
Board adhere to its present policy of not allowing the
use of a temporary trailer for longer than 6 months. Upon
a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and
carried, based on the recommendations of the Building Commission
and the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and taking into considera-
tion the Board policy, the above request to locate a trailer at
2502 South Michigan was approved for a period of six months.
The matter of the actual move of the trailer will now be
initiated by Mr. Smith through the Building Department.
