378 <br />REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 26, 1983 <br />ADDENDUM I <br />KENNEDY PARK TENNIS COURT RESURFACING AND FENCING <br />This Addendum allows for a change in the Allowable Costs <br />category and the Program Budget.The total cost of the <br />Kennedy Park Tennis Court Resurfacing and Fencing <br />Activity under CD83-402.3 shall.not exceed $45,000.00. <br />The total cost of the tennis court resurfacing aspect <br />may not exceed $30,000.00. The total cost of the <br />fencing of the tennis court area may not exceed <br />$15,000.00. <br />Upon a motion made by 11r. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan <br />and carried, the above Com�cunity Development Contract and. <br />Addendum were approved and executed. <br />APPROVE CONTRACTOR AND H01-HEOWNER AGREE14ENTS - BUREAU <br />.,OF HOUSING NEIGHBORHOOD PAINT -UP PROGRAM <br />Ms. Janet S. Holston, Director, Bureau of Housing, presented <br />to the Board for approval the following.Neighborhood Paint <br />Up Program Agreements: <br />CONTRACTOR AND HOMEOWNER AGREEMENTS <br />1. Homeowner: Dovie Steele <br />Address: 541 North Cleveland <br />Contract Price: $210.00 <br />Contractor: Aardvark Construction Company <br />2. Homeowner: Louella Nicholson <br />Address: 934 North St. Peter <br />Contract Price: $435.00 <br />Contractor: Campbell Electric Company <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the above agreements were approved and executed. <br />REQUEST USE OF TEMPORARY OFFICE TRAILER.- <br />RAY'S AUTO SALES REFERRED <br />In a letter to the Board, Mr. Cecil R. Smith, 11171 McKinley' <br />Highway, Osceola, Indiana, indicated that he is preparing to <br />lease the property located at 2502 South Michigan Street for <br />the purpose of operating Ray's Auto Sales, a used car lot. <br />He further indicated that the lease will be for a period of <br />one (1) year and he is requesting permission to.locate a <br />modular constructed building on this property for the term of <br />his lease. Submitted with the letter were pictures of the <br />trailer. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by <br />Mr. Kernan and carried, the request to use a temporary office <br />trailer at the above address was referred to the Building <br />Department and the Bureau .of Traffic and Lighting for review <br />and recommendation. The matter of the actual move of the <br />trailer from its ,present location to the above address will <br />be addressed after a favorable recommendation is received <br />from the above departments regarding the location of the <br />trailer and approved by the Board. <br />APPROVE REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR RECEIPT OF BIDS - <br />SALE OF ABANDONED VEHICLES <br />Ms. Katherine Barnard, Director of the Department of Code <br />Enforcement, requested permission to advertise for the sale <br />of approximately ten (10) abandoned vehicles, all of which <br />are valued at over One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) and all of <br />which were being stored at Hurwich Impoundment Lot,_1610 <br />Circle Avenue. It was noted that all vehicles have been <br />stored more than the thirty (30) days, identification checks <br />had been run for auto theft, and the owners and lienholders <br />notified. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski,,seconded by <br />Mr. Kernan and carried, the request was approved and a date <br />of October 10, 1983 was established for the receiving of.. <br />sealed bids. <br />Fj <br />
