33S REGULAR MEETING AUGUST 15. 1983 needs to be rebuilt. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above request was approved. APPROVE TITLE SHEETS Mr. Leszczynski advised that Title Sheets for the following projects were being presented at this time for execution.: 1. MIAMI/IRELAND RETENTION BASIN REPAIRS 2. CONSTRUCTION OF BASKETBALL COURT BEHIND EAST SECTOR POLICE SUBSTATION 3. RECONSTRUCTION OF S. HAWTHORNE STREET SANITARY SEWER Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above Title Sheets were approved and signed. REQUEST TO CONDUCT STREET SERVICES REFERRED. In a letter to the Board, Ms. Dora Lottie, 2024 Pershing Street, South Bend, requested permission to conduct street services on the corner. of Chapin and Napier during the first two weeks in September from 6 to 8 p.m. She indicated that services will be conducted by she and her co-workers and that they are members of the Church of God in. Christ Saints Memorial, 321 South Liberty Street, South Bend. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above request, was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting for review and recommendation. REQUEST TO CONDUCT BLOCK PARTIES REFERRED Mr. Leszczynski advised that the following block party requests have been received: 1. 600 Block of'Studebaker September 5, 1983 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Petitioner: Thomas Lue, 643 LaPorte 2. 4700 Block of Williamburg Court September 5, 1983 11:30 a.m, to 7:30 p.m. Petitioner: Richard Thomas, Community Chairman Harbor Homes Community Council, 309 Boston Dr. 3. 900 Block of North Adams Street from Lincolnway West to California Street September 3, 1983 12:00 noon until 8 p.m. Petitioner: C. Jerry Wroblewski, 906 N. Adams Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above requests were referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and the Police Department Traffic Division for review and recommendation. APPROVE HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the following six (6) handicapped parking permits were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's.office for issuance: Agnes DeWitt, 500 Lincolnway East, Mish. - Ethurel Ivory, 206 N.
