Box 1330 Vice -President, Non -Collusion <br />Huntsville, Al. 35804 Affidavit was in order and a <br />Cashiers Check in the amount <br />of $4,597.00 was submitted. <br />PRIMARY BID: $45,970.00 <br />TRADE IN 7,500.00 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the above bids were referred to the Fire Department for <br />review and recommendation. <br />APPROVAL OF SALE OF CITY-014NED PROPERTY - 606 CARROLL STREET <br />It was noted that bids for the sale of this property were accepted <br />and opened at the Board meeting held on July 11, 1983. At that <br />time, two bids were received each in the amount of $220.00. The <br />Clerk was instructed to contact both bidders and ask for re- <br />submission of bids for the property. Mr. Marion Treat, 612 <br />Carroll Street, has now submitted to the Board a copy of a <br />letter he has written to Mr. Rozell Murray, 604 Carroll Street, <br />the other person who submitted a bid on July 11, 1983 for the <br />property. The letter to Mr. Murray states that since he has <br />waived his right to purchase the property, Mr. Treat intends <br />to purchase it for the original bid price of $220.00 with the <br />stipulation that Mr. Murray will be permitted to maintain a <br />garden on that piece of property which he currently uses. Based <br />on this agreement between the parties, upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the bid of Mr. <br />Marion Treat in the amount of $220.00 was accepted and the matter <br />referred to the City Attorney's office for the drafting of the <br />appropriate Purchase Agreement. <br />1 <br />I <br />1 <br />
