REGULAR MEETING <br />JULY 11, 1983 <br />APPROVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT 'CONTRACT AND ADDENDA <br />The following Community Development Contract and Addenda were <br />presented to the Board for approval: <br />Contract: <br />Department of Redevelopment & Economic Development <br />Max's Grocery Rehabilitation <br />The targeted goal for Max's Grocery Rehabilitation is to make <br />structural and exterior repairs necessary to make the structure <br />marketable. If, for any reason, there is difficulty in <br />achieving this goal, the Agency must notify the Division of <br />Community Development so it may be rectified in a timely manner. <br />The total.cost of this activity shall not exceed $50,000.00. <br />Addenda: <br />Renew, Inc. <br />Acquisition/Rehabilitation Activity <br />Addendum I revising original contract in the Allowable Costs <br />and Program Budget areas indicating that the total cost of <br />Renew, Inc. Acquisition/Rehab Activity.shall not exceed <br />$62,204.00 and additionally amending the Program Guidelines <br />in accordance with new Section 8 income guidelines setting <br />out a new maximum annual gross Household Income scale. <br />Neighborhood Code Enforcement Office <br />Code Enforcement Rehabilitation Activity <br />Add endun I revising original contract in the Allowable Costs <br />and Program Budget areas indicating that the total cost of <br />this activity shall not exceed $100,000.00 and additionally <br />amending the Purpose and Intent and.Cost Categories sections. <br />Nei <br />orhood Code Enforcement "O"ff'ice <br />and Program Budget areas <br />this activity shall not <br />ment of Appendix II. <br />inal contract in the Allowable Costs <br />indicating that the total cost of <br />exceed $137,452.00 and the replace - <br />Bureau of Housing <br />Housing Rehabilitation Grant Activity <br />Addendum III revising original contract in the Allowable Costs <br />and Program Budget areas indicating that the total to be paid <br />by the City to the Agency under this agreement shall not <br />exceed $267,617.72 for full and complete satisfactory performance. <br />Department of Redevelopment and Economic Development <br />East Bank Develo merit Activit <br />A dendum I revising origina contract in the Allowable Costs <br />and Program Budget areas indicating that the total to be paid <br />by the City to the Agency under this agreement shall not <br />exceed $415,000.00 for full and complete satisfactory performance. <br />Neighborhood Housing` Services of" South" B"end, Inc. <br />NHS Acquisition Rehabilitation Activity <br />Addendum I revising original contract in the Allowable Costs <br />and Program Budget areas indicating that the total to be paid <br />by the City to the Agency shall not exceed $128,163.00 for <br />full and complete satisfactory performance. Additional changes <br />are in the Program Guidelines, Activity Services Area, Special <br />Conditions & Environmental Conditions. <br />Specialized Transportation System of St. Joseph Count <br />Specialized Transportation "Service <br />Addendum I revising origina co ntract in the Allowable Costs <br />and Program Budget areas indicating that the total amount to <br />be paid by the City to the Agency shall not exceed $34,684.0.0 <br />for full and complete satisfactory performance. <br />1 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the above Community Development Contract and Addenda <br />were approved and executed. <br />
