PEACOCK <br />16533 Cleveland Road <br />Granger, Indiana <br />Stands to be located at: <br />Dates: Present to July 4, <br />selling fireworks <br />4615 Miami and 1801 South Bend Ave. <br />1983 for the purpose of <br />ZEKE'S ELECTRONICS <br />KARLENE ZICK <br />109 State Line Road <br />Niles, Michigan <br />Stand to be located at: 4425 South Michigan <br />Dates: Present to July 4, 1983 for the purpose <br />of selling fireworks <br />Mr. Leszczynski further advised that favorable recommendations <br />have been received on Ken's Fireworks, Big Boom Fireworks and <br />Zeke's Electronics, from the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />the Police Department and the Department of Code Enforcement. <br />All applicants have provided a letter from the property owner <br />granting permission to erect an open air stand on said <br />property and have additionally provided a copy of their <br />Fireworks Stand Retail Sales Permit issued by the State Fire <br />Marshall. <br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that the application of Knute Rockne <br />Babe Ruth was just recently received and as of yet the necessary <br />departments have not provided their recommendations. Based on. <br />the fact that the applicant wishes to operate on July 2, 1983, <br />Mr. Leszczynski recommended that this application be approved <br />subject to favorable recommendations being received from the <br />necessary departments conducting a review of the application <br />and subject to the applicant providing the Board with a <br />Certificate of Insurance in the amount of $1,000,000.00 <br />naming the City of South Bend as an additional insured. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill <br />and carried, the above applicants, subject to the provisions <br />outlined above, were approved. The applications of Ken's <br />Fireworks, Big Boom Fireworks and Zeke's Electronics were <br />referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance. <br />
