259 <br />REGULAR MEETING JUNE 13, 1983 <br />$200 x 3/4 = $150 per cubic yard. Pours #3 and #4 on Pier <br />#5 sheet #10 will be reduced from 38.2 CYS to 21.7 CYS each <br />since the footing will now be 5 feet higher than planned. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. <br />Hill and carried, the above Change Order No. 6 was approved. <br />APPROVE.TITLE SHEET - SIGNALIZATION OF ORANGE STREET & COLLEGE <br />STREET AND COLFAX AVENUE AND WALNUT STREET INTERSECTIONS <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Title Sheet for the above <br />referred to project was being presented to the Board at this <br />time for execution. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, <br />seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above Title Sheet was <br />approved and signed. <br />APPROVE PURCHASE AGREEMENT - SALE OF CITY -OWNED <br />PROPERTY AT 522 & 524 EAST OHIO <br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that, in accordance with the bid <br />awarded on May 16, 1983, for the 'purchase of the city -owned <br />lots at 522 and 524 East Ohio Street, in the amount of <br />$525.00, the Purchase Agreement was being submitted for <br />Board approval. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, <br />seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the Purchase Agreement <br />was approved and the matter referred to the City Attorney's <br />office for drafting of the appropriate Quit -Claim Deed. <br />APPROVE SIDEWALK SALE PERMIT APPLICATIONS <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the following Sidewalk Sale <br />Permit applications have been received: <br />Ms. Barb Brownell <br />Cornucopia Restaurant <br />303 South Michigan Street <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Ms. Laurie Ziolkowski <br />Colonial Gazebo <br />229 South Michigan Street <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Ms. Sharon White <br />Baby Boutique <br />229 South Michigan Street <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Ms. Lorraine Davidson <br />Basket Case <br />229 South Michigan Street <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Mr. Ronald J. Thompson <br />Osco Drug <br />128 South Michigan Street <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />It was noted that the Cornucopia Restaurant, Colonial Gazebo, <br />Baby Boutique and the Basket Case want to display their <br />merchandise on the sidewalk on June 17 & 18, 1983. Osco <br />Drugs is requesting the permit for the dates of July 1 & 2, <br />1983. Upon a motion made by Mr. Kernan, seconded by Mr. <br />Hill and carried, the above Sidewalk Sale Permit applications <br />were approved subject to the applicants filing with the Board <br />a $1,000,000.00 Certificate of Insurance naming the City as <br />an additional insured. Additionally, the Clerk was instructed <br />to contact Mr., Thompson of Osco Drugs to determine if the <br />necessary state permit to sell legal fireworks has been secured. <br />
