252 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />JUNE 6, 1983 <br />APPROVE PROJECT CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 (FINAL) AND PROJECT <br />COMPLETION AFFIDAVIT - LINDSEY AVENUE N.H.S. IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECT (McINTYRE AND JONES CONSTRUCTION CO., INC. <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that McIntyre and Jones Construction <br />Co., Inc., had submitted Change Order No. 1 (Final) indicat- <br />ing that the contract amount be increased by $7,761.16 for a <br />new contract sum including this change order in the amount <br />of $105,258.06. Additionally submitted was the Project <br />Completion Affidavit indicating this new final cost. Upon <br />a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the Change Order No. 1 (Final) and the Project <br />Completion Affidavit were approved, subject to the filing of <br />the appropriate three-year Maintenance Bond. <br />REQUEST TO CONDUCT BLOCK PARTY I100' VICTORIA '('JUNE' 18', 1983) <br />In a letter to the Board, Ms. Debra Trippel, 1119 E. Victoria <br />Street, South Bend, and Ms. Michelle Fluegge, 1127 East <br />Victoria Street on behalf of the residents of the 1100 block <br />of Victoria Street requested that Victoria Street from Miami <br />Street to Marine be blocked off during the hours of 3:00 p.m. <br />to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, 1983 in order for a block <br />party to be held. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, <br />seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above request was <br />referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and the Police <br />Department Traffic Division for review and recommendation. <br />REQUEST TO HAVE STREET CLOSED - CA4PEAU STREET FROM <br />EDDY TO FRANCIS (JUNE 26, 1983) REFERRED <br />In a letter to the Board, Mr. Arvester Fleming, Sr., 1116 <br />East Sorin Street, South Bend, Indiana, on behalf of the <br />First A.M.E. Zion Church, requests that Campeau Street from <br />Eddy Street to Francis Street be closed on Saturday, June <br />25, 1983 from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. for the purpose of <br />conducting a church festivity. <br />APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATIONS - RUBBISH AND GARBAGE <br />The following rubbish and garbage license applications were <br />received: <br />Stanley Wroblewski <br />2626 W.
