4v <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />MAY 31,' 1983 <br />on June 4, 1983. The event will commence at 11:00 a.m, at <br />the Leeper Park duck pond. The portion involving city streets <br />of the Tri-Fun-Alon is the bicycle leg from Leeper Park to <br />Pinhook Park. This event will require police traffic squad <br />cars for lead and follow-up only. No further control will be <br />necessary. In concurrence with the Police Department Traffic <br />Division, the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting recommends <br />approval of this event. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, <br />seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above requst was approved. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill <br />and carried, the following six (6) traffic control devices as <br />recommended by Ralph J. Wadzin.ski, Manager, Bureau of Traffic <br />and Lighting, were approved: <br />REVISE TO STOP SIGN - On Pulaski at Indiana. <br />REVISE TO STOP SIGN - On York at Twyckenham. <br />REVISE TO STOP SIGN - On Marine at Woodside. <br />REVISE TO STOP SIGN - On Ostemo at Iroquois. <br />REVISE TO STOP SIGN - On Greenwood at Hilltop. <br />INSTALL STOP SIGN - On New Maple Rd, extension <br />at S.R. 23 (Prairie). <br />INSTALL TRUCKS OVER 26,000 GVW PROHIBITED - <br />Lawndale -- Vassar to L.W.W. <br />APPROVE CONTRACTOR'S BONDS <br />Mr. Ray S. Andrysiak, P.E., recommends the approval of Contractor's <br />Bonds for Mr. Alex Papczynski d/b/a Papczynski Concrete Brokerage; <br />23800 State Road 4, Lakeville, Indiana, effective retroactive to <br />May 26, 1983 and for Mr. Ronald Schmanke, 1421 California, <br />effective retroactive to May 26, 1983. Upon a motion made by <br />Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above <br />bonds were approved as recommended. <br />APPROVE RELEASE OF CONTRACTOR'S BONDS <br />Mr. Ray S. Andrysiak, P.E., recommended the Board release the <br />Contractor's Bonds of Heritage Construction Company, Inc., <br />530 North Niles Avenue, South Bend, Indiana effective May 31, <br />1983 and Mr. Charles John Hagye, 1323 East Dayton Street, South <br />Bend, effective May 31, 1983. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above <br />bonds were released as recommended. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS <br />A list containing fifty-six (56) lots ordered cleaned by the <br />Director of the Department of Code Enforcement was submitted. <br />It was noted that property owners had been advised to clean- <br />up the lots and had failed to do so. Upon a motion made by <br />Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the <br />environmental list was filed. <br />APPROVE HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill <br />and carried, the following four (4) handicapped parking permits <br />were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office <br />for issuance: <br />Donald E.
