REGULAR MEETING <br />MAY 16, 1983 <br />215 <br />1 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of <br />Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />That the parcel of real estate owned by <br />the City contained in the following list <br />is not necessary to the public use andis. <br />not set aside by state or city law for <br />public purposes: <br />Address Deed No. <br />1034 E. Cedar 1262 <br />Adopted this 16th day of May, 1983. <br />ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 12-1983 - RECYCLING/TRANSFER <br />STATION LICENSE - STC P.ECYCLING.' INC <br />RESOLUTION NO. 12-1983 <br />WHEREAS, a license application for a Recycling/. <br />Transfer Station for the year 1983 has been received <br />by the Board of Public Works; and <br />WHEREAS, inspections of the property have been <br />completed by the Department of Code Enforcement and <br />the Fire Prevention Bureau as required by Chapter 4, <br />Article 4, Section 4-51 of the Municipal Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Code Enforcement and <br />the Fire Prevention Bureau have found that such premises <br />is fit and proper for the maintenance and operation of <br />such a business; and <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 4, Article 4, Section 4-51 of the <br />Municipal Code requires approval of a Resolution of the <br />Board of Public Works recommending the approval of the <br />license application. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public <br />Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that the <br />license application for the following Recycling/Transfer <br />Station be recommended favorably based upon the satisfactory <br />review of the property by the Department of Code Enforce- <br />ment and the Fire Prevention Bureau: <br />STC Recycling, Inc. 445 N. Sheridan. St. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall be <br />submitted to the Common Council for its consideration <br />and adoption of an appropriate resolution. <br />Dated: May 16, 1983 <br />ATTEST: <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />s/ John E. Parmerlee, Clerk <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Board has received a license <br />application for a Recycling/Transfer Station license from <br />STC Recycling, Inc., 2652 East Rock Drive, Rockford, Illinois <br />who propose to operate a recycling/transfer station at 445 <br />North Sheridan Street. Carolyn Pfotenhauer advised that <br />the Department of Code Enforcement and the Fire Prevention <br />Bureau have made an inspection of the premises on May 13, <br />1983 and found the premises to be in compliance with <br />ordinance requirements and is fit and proper for the main- <br />tenance and operation of such a business.
