REGULAR MEETING MARCH 7. 1983 centerline; thence East along said East and West centerline 43.9 feet to the said North and South centerline of said Northeast Quarter of said Southwest Quarter; thence South 8.67 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. ALSO, a parcel of land located in the Southeast Quarter.(,,) of Section No. Seventeen.(17), in Township No. Thirty-seven (37) North, Range No. Two (2) East, Portage Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana, more particularly described as follows: A fifty feet wide strip of land that lies North and West of and contiguous to the right-of-way of the Chicago, Indiana and Southern Railroad Company, formerly the Indiana, Illinois and Iowa Railroad Company. ALSO, a parcel of land located in the Northeast Quarter (4) of Section No. Twenty (20), in Township No. Thirty-seven (37) North, Range No. Two (2) East, Portage Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana, more particularly described as follows: A fifty feet wide strip of land that lies North and West of, and contiguous to the right-of-way of the Chicago, Indiana and Southern Railroad Company, formerly the Indiana, Illinois and Iowa Railroad Company, said strip being further limited in extent by the Kankakee or dixon West Place Ditch. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that if proceeding is brought by condemnation for the acquisition of such real estate, such proceedings shall be brought pursuant to provisions of Acts of 1905, Chapter 38, being I.C. 32-11-1-1 to 32-11-1-13. Kernan Mr. Hill advised that this resolution, as well as Resolution No. 4-1983 is a re-enactment of Resolution No. 19-1981 originally adopted by the Board on October 9, 1981, authorizing the Depart- ment of Public Works to proceed with preparations for off -site work and improvements in regards to the ethanol plant project. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the above resolution was adopted. APPROVE WARRANTY DEEDS - MARTIN BLAD - (ETHANOL PLANT PROJECT) Mr. Leszczynski presented to the Board two (2) Warranty Deeds from Martin Blad to the City of South Bend for two (2) parcels of land. The parcels are as follows: A parcel of land situated in the Southwest Quarter (4) of the Southwest Quarter (4) of Section Sixteen (16), Township Thirty-seven (37) North, Range Two (2) East, Portage Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana, more particularly described as follows: A fifty (50) feet wide strip of land that lies North and West of and contiguous to the right-of-way of the Indiana, Illinois and Iowa Railroad Company (New York Central Railroad Company).
