Kernan <br />Mr. Hill advised that this resolution, as well as Resolution No. <br />4-1983 is a re-enactment of Resolution No. 19-1981 originally <br />adopted by the Board on October 9, 1981, authorizing the Depart- <br />ment of Public Works to proceed with preparations for off -site <br />work and improvements in regards to the ethanol plant project. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan <br />and carried, the above resolution was adopted. <br />APPROVE WARRANTY DEEDS - MARTIN BLAD - (ETHANOL PLANT PROJECT) <br />Mr. Leszczynski presented to the Board two (2) Warranty Deeds <br />from Martin Blad to the City of South Bend for two (2) parcels <br />of land. The parcels are as follows: <br />A parcel of land situated in the Southwest Quarter <br />(4) of the Southwest Quarter (4) of Section Sixteen <br />(16), Township Thirty-seven (37) North, Range Two <br />(2) East, Portage Township, St. Joseph County, <br />Indiana, more particularly described as follows: <br />A fifty (50) feet wide strip of land that lies <br />North and West of and contiguous to the right-of-way <br />of the Indiana, Illinois and Iowa Railroad Company <br />(New York Central Railroad Company). <br />Subject to rights of way for drainage ditches, <br />feeders and laterals, ifany. <br />
