062 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />JANUARY 4, 1983 <br />OPENING AND AWARD OF BIDS - SALE OF ABAND014ED VEHICLES <br />This was the date set for receiving and opening sealed bids for <br />the sale of approximately fourteen (14) abandoned vehicles, <br />twelve (12) of which are valued at over $100 and all of which <br />have been stored at the Hurwich Iron Company, 1610 Circle Avenue. <br />The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South <br />Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which were found to be <br />sufficient. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. <br />Kernan and carried, the above bids were referred to the Depart- <br />ment of Code Enforcement for immediate review and recommendation <br />in order that an award could be made prior to adjournment of the <br />meeting. He additionally stated that <br />the Consent is submitted under the terms of the Loan Agreement <br />of the EDC and that counsel for Rahn Properties has no objections <br />to this restructuring. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, <br />seconded by Mr. Kernan, the above Consent was approved. <br />
