Best Cleaning Services Bid was signed by Deborah J. P. O. Box 29 Gardner, non -collusion affidavit South Bend, Ind. 46624 was in order and a 5% bid bond was submitted. Janitorial services - $18,792.00 Acme Air Filter Service Corp. Bid was signed by Charles Eder, P. 0. Box 1544 non -collusion affidavit was in South Bend, Ind. 46634 order and a 5% bid bond was submitted. Janitorial services only $23,000.00 Arrow Services, Inc. Bid was signed by Everett D. 1815 N. Michigan Colvin, non -collusion affidavit Plymouth, Ind. 46563 was in order and a cashier's check in the amount of $56.40 was submitted. Pest and rodent control - $1,128.00 Maintenance Systems Corp. Bid was signed by Richard W. 203 E. Mishawaka Avenue Johnson, non -collusion affidavit Mishawaka, Ind. 46545 was in order and a 5% bid bond was submitted. Janitorial services only - $19,740.00 Janitorial services and pest and rodent control - $20,868.00 Pritchard Services, Inc. Bid was signed by T. R. Brantley, P. 0. Box 658 non -collusion affidavit was in South Bend, Ind. 46624 order and a 5% bid bond was submitted. Janitorial services - $20,955.48 Janitorial services and pest and rodent control - $23,060.85 Pest and rodent control only - $66.67/mo. Mr. Leszczynski advised that Servicemaster Building Services, Inc., P. 0. Box 85, Elkhart, Indiana, had declined to bid on the janitorial services at this time. Mrs. Pfotenhauer advised that the bids of Reliable Janitorial, 1606 W. Sample, for janitorial services and pest control; and that of Indiana Terminix Company, P. O. Box 2843, for pest and rodent control, were not properly signed. She indicated that the failure of the companies to submit an unsigned bid constituted a fatal defect and she recommended those bids be rejected. Upon a motion made by Mr. Kernan, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the bids of Reliable Janitorial and Indiana Terminix were rejected. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above bids were referred to the Police Department for review and recommendation. OPENING AND AWARD OF BIDS - SALE OF ABANDONED VEHICLES This was the date set for receiving and opening sealed bids for the sale of approximately 10 abandoned vehicles, 5 of which are valued at over $100.00 and all of which have been stored at the Hurwich Impoundment Lot, 1610 Circle Avenue. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. The following bids were opened and publicly read:
