REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 15, 1982 OPENING AND AWARD OF BIDS - SALE OF ABANDONED VEHICLES This was the date set for receiving and opening sealed bids for the sale of approximately 17 abandoned vehicles, 14 of which are valued at over $100.00 and all of which have been stored at the Hurwich Impoundment Lot, 1610 Circle Avenue. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. The following bids were opened and publicly read: Hurwich Iron Co. Steve & Gene's Vehicle No. 1610 Circle Ave. 3109 S. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above bids were referred to the Neighborhood Code Enforcement Office for immediate review and reconmiendation in order that an award could be made prior to adjournment of the meeting.
