REGULAR MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 15, 1982 <br />OPENING AND AWARD OF BIDS - SALE OF ABANDONED VEHICLES <br />This was the date set for receiving and opening sealed bids for the <br />sale of approximately 17 abandoned vehicles, 14 of which are valued <br />at over $100.00 and all of which have been stored at the Hurwich <br />Impoundment Lot, 1610 Circle Avenue. The Clerk tendered proofs of <br />publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County <br />News which were found to be sufficient. The following bids were <br />opened and publicly read: <br />Hurwich Iron Co. <br />Steve & Gene's <br />Vehicle No. <br />1610 Circle Ave. <br />3109 S. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above bids were <br />referred to the Neighborhood Code Enforcement Office for immediate <br />review and reconmiendation in order that an award could be made <br />prior to adjournment of the meeting.
