473 REGULAR MEETING DECEMBER 31, 1984 APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 - CLEANING AND PAINTING OF WESTERN/WALNUT VIADUCT PROJECT Mr. Leszczynski advised that J. L. Manta, Inc. 7757 South Chicago Avenue, Chicago, Illinois, submitted Change,Order No. 1 indicating that the contract amount be increased by $9,500.00 as a result of additional painting of the viaduct face being required to match the newly painted underside of the viaduct, thus increasing the new contract sum including this Change Order to $33,090.00. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, Change Order No. l as submitted was approved. APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 (FINAL) AND PROJECT COMPLETION AFFIDAVIT - EAST BANK DEVELOPMENT PHASE II Mr.-Leszczynski advised that Geyer Construction and Development Company, 67475 Kenilworth Road, Lakeville, Indiana, has submitted Change Order No. 1 (Final) indicating that the contract amount be increased by $2,264.00 for a new contract sum including this Change Order in the amount of $82,262.80. Change Order No. 1 (final) indicates a change in twenty (20) items in regard to this project. Additionally submitted was the Project Completion Affidavit indicating this new final cost. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, Change Order No. 1 (Final) and the Project Completion Affidavit were approved subject to the filing of the appropriate three-year Maintenance Bond. APPROVE REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR RECEIPT OF BIDS - SALE OF ABANDONED VEHICLES Ms. Katherine Barnard, Director, Department of Code Enforcement, requested permission to advertise for the sale of approximately fourteen (14) abandoned vehicles, two (2) of which are valued at over $100.00 and all of which are being stored at Steve and Gene's Auto and Truck Salvage and Repair, 3109 South Gertrude Street, South Bend, Indiana. It was noted that all vehicles have been stored more than thirty (30) days, identification checks had been run for auto theft and the owners and lienholders notified. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above request was approved and a date of January 14, 1985 was established for the receiving and opening of sealed bids. APPROVE REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS - PLAZA MAINTENANCE FACILITY REMODELING ("OLD" NEWMAN'S BUILDING) In a letter Division of the receipt motion made the request to the Board, Mr. Joseph J. APPROVE TITLE SHEET - PLAZA MAINTENANCE FACILITY REMODELING ("OLD" NEWMAN'S BUILDING) Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Title Sheet for the above referred to project was being presented at this time for execution. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above referred to Title Sheet was approved and signed.
