457 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />DECEMBER 17, 1984 <br />BUREAU OF HOUSING <br />HOUSING REHABILITATION FUND ACTIVITY <br />The targeted goal for this activity is to assist 95 households in <br />their housing rehabilitation efforts. The total cost of this <br />activity shall not exceed $550,000.00. <br />RENEW, INC. <br />RENEW, INC. ACQUISITION/REHABILITATION ACTIVITY <br />The targeted goal for this activity is to acquire and rehabilitate <br />4 single family housing units within the.Neighborhood <br />Revitalization Area. The total cost of this activity shall not <br />exceed $ 45,000.00. <br />HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />HISTORIC PRESERVATION ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT ACTIVITY <br />The targeted goal of this activity is to enable the Commission to <br />expand its activities throughout the City, said activities to <br />include assistance in obtaining neighborhood historic district <br />designations; provide technical assistance on the implications of <br />Multiple Resource District designation; disseminate information on <br />economic benefits of preservation; devise a comprehensive plan to <br />use the City survey most effectively and efficiently; conduct <br />reviews of federally funded projects and technical assistance to <br />the Community Development planning staff and recipients of C.D. <br />funds as requested. The total cost of this activity shall not <br />exceed $7,000.00 for personnel costs. <br />ADDENDUM I <br />MADISON CENTER, INC. <br />RAPE CRISIS COUNSELING ACTIVITY <br />Addendum I indicates a shift from personnel to non -personnel line <br />items in the amount of $1,600.00. No additional funds are <br />involved. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the above Contracts and Addendum were approved and <br />executed. <br />ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 27-1984 - SALE OF CITY -OWNED PROPERTY <br />AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF LELAND AND MARION STREETS <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the following Resolution No. 27-1984 for the sale of the <br />above referred to City -owned property was adopted: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 27-1984 <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works of the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana, has compiled a current detailed inventory of <br />all real property owned by the City of South Bend; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works has reviewed said <br />inventory of real property and it finds that certain of <br />the parcels of real estate now owned by the City of South <br />Bend are not set aside by State and City laws for public <br />purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works now wishes to take <br />the necessary action to make it possible for the Board, in <br />the future, to sell said parcels of real estate pursuant to <br />State Statutes. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public <br />Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />That the parcel of real estate owned by <br />the City contained in the following list <br />is not necessary to the public use and <br />is not set aside by State or City laws <br />for public purposes: <br />
