REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 13, 1'9'84 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill <br />and carried, the above bids were referred to the Department <br />of Code Enforcement for immediate review and recommendation <br />in order that an award could be made prior to adjournment <br />of the meeting. Following that review, upon a motion made <br />by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the <br />following bids were awarded: <br />James A. Guy - Vehicle No. 1 $75.00 <br />South Bend Auto Parts - Vehicle No. 2 $37.50 <br />3 26.25 <br />4 26.25 <br />5 36.50 <br />6 36.50 <br />7 36..50 <br />8 26.25 <br />9 26.25 <br />10 41.50 <br />11 38.50- <br />12 38.50 <br />13 26.50 <br />TOTAL: $397.00. <br />GRAND TOTAL: $472.00 <br />APPROVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ADDENDUM <br />The following Community Development Addendum was presented to <br />the Board of approval: <br />ADDENDUM I <br />YOUTH SERVICE BUREAU <br />YOUTH SERVICE BUREAU REHABILITATION <br />Addendum I indicates that t e Timetable category shall <br />be revised in.the following manner: Costs may be incurred <br />when the Youth Service Bureau,is notified to proceed with <br />the rehabilitation activity by the Division of Community <br />Development. The activity shall commence on August 28, <br />1984 and shall continue to and include July 31, 1985. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the above Community Development Addendum was approved <br />and executed. <br />AWARD BIDS: 1. WESTERN AVENUE PARKING LOT PROJECT <br />2. AIR CONDITIONING OF BUILDING 222 LINCOLNWAY WEST. <br />YOUTH SERVICE BUREAU <br />In a letter to the Board, Neil A. Shanahan, Manager, Bureau of <br />Public Construction, recommended that the Board award the low <br />bid of Geyer Construction and Development Company., 67475 <br />Kenilworth Road, Lakeville, Indiana, in the amount of <br />$44,988.50 for the Western Avenue Parking Lot Project. <br />Additionally, Mr. Shanahan recommended that the Board award <br />the low bid of O.J. Shoemaker, Inc., 1008 Lincolnway East, <br />South Bend, Indiana, in the amount of $18,700.00 for the <br />Air Conditioning of the Youth Service Building at 2222 <br />Lincolnway West Project. <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that bids for the above referred to <br />projects were opened by the Board on November 5, 1984. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the above recommendations were accepted and the bids <br />awarded, subject to the filing of the appropriate Insurance, <br />Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond. <br />
