Pfotenhauer <br />has submitted to the Board for approval four (4) Western Avenue <br />Parking Lot Lease Agreements between the following individuals <br />and the City of South Bend for off-street parking on Western <br />Avenue, said parking lots located in an area from approximately <br />Chapin to Walnut Streets: <br />1. LESSOR: Edward V. Minczeski <br />LOCATION: 42 Ft. E&W 7 Rds. N&S 9 Rds. 10 Ft. W. <br />of NE Cor. 93 Bank Outlots - Key #18-3059-2280 <br />2. LESSOR: Army and Navy. Union #46 <br />LOCATION: Lot Lettered "G" as shown on the recorded plat <br />of L.F. Baker's Subdivision on Bank Out Lot #87 <br />of the Second Plat of Out Lots of the Town, now <br />City of South Bend <br />3. LESSOR: Army and Navy Union #46 <br />LOCATION: Lot Lettered "F" as shown on the recorded plat <br />of L.F. Baker's Subdivision of Bank Out Lot 87 <br />of the Second Plat of Out Lots of the town, now <br />City of South Bend. <br />4. LESSOR: Western State Bank <br />LOCATION: Lot Numbered Seventy-five (75) as shown on the <br />recorded Plat of Commissioner's Subdivision of <br />the South part of Bank Out Lots Eighty-five (85) <br />and Eighty-six (86) of the Second Plat of Out <br />Lots of the town, now City of South Bend. <br />Ms. Pfotenhauer advised that these Lease Agreements are for a <br />period of five (5) years beginning on October 22, 1984 and ending <br />on October 22, 1989 for the sum of $1.00 rent for the lease term. <br />She further advised that the City will make improvements including <br />designing a parking layout for the leased premises, pave and stripe <br />the parking surface and install, where appropriate, curb cuts and <br />protective barriers to prevent damage to adjacent buildings. Mr. <br />Leszczynski advised that these Lease Agreements are a result of <br />the continuing efforts of the Western Avenue Task Force. Upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, <br />the above referred to Lease Agreements were approved and executed. <br />1 <br />1 <br />
