407 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />OCTOBER 22, 1984 <br />SECTION I. The Board of Public Works recommends to <br />the Common Council of the City of South Bend that the <br />area known as the Chapin Neighborhood Revitalization <br />District with boundaries being both sides of Jefferson <br />Street (north), both sides of Scott Street (east), the <br />north side of Western Avenue (south) and both sides of <br />Laurel Street (west) be designated as an impact area for <br />the planned use of Community Development Block Grant Funds <br />SECTION II. That a copy of this Resolution be forwarded <br />to the Common Council along with copies of all evidence <br />submitted by the Division of Community Development pursuant <br />to Ordinance No. 7372-84. <br />ADOPTED this 22nd day of October, 1984. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />s/ John E. Parmerlee, Clerk <br />OPENING AND AWARD OF BIDS - SALE OF ABANDONED VEHICLES <br />This was the date set for the receiving and opening of sealed <br />bids for the sale of approximately thirteen (13) abandoned <br />vehicles, six (6) of which are valued at over $100.00 and all <br />of which have been stored at South Bend Auto Parts, 1802 South <br />Main Street, South Bend, Indiana. The Clerk tendered proofs of <br />publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri- <br />County News which were found to be sufficient. The Board was <br />advised that the owner of vehicle number one has claimed the <br />car and therefore it was removed from the list of vehicles <br />for sale.
