Box 1775 <br />South Bend, Indiana 46634 <br />TOTAL AMOUNT OF BID: $77,798.00 <br />GEYER CONSTRUCTION DEVELOPMENT CO. <br />67475 Kenilworth Road <br />Lakeville, Indiana 46536 <br />TOTAL AMOUNT OF BID: $63,996.25 <br />Bid was signed by Robert L. <br />McCormick,..Superintendent, <br />Non -Collusion Affidavit was <br />in order and a 5% Bid Bond <br />was submitted. <br />Bid was signed by William A. <br />Geyer, Non -Collusion Affidavit <br />was in order and a 5% Bid <br />Bond was submitted. <br />Mr. Neil Shanahan, Manager, Bureau of Public Construction, advised <br />that the scope of this project includes pavement work at the inter- <br />section of Howard and Niles with removal of railroad tracks and <br />the opening up of a cul-de-sac to through traffic on Camden Street <br />to Western Avenue. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Vance and <br />carried, the above bids were referred to the Engineering Depart- <br />ment for review and recommendation. <br />OPENING AND AWARD OF BIDS - SALE OF ABANDONED VEHICLES <br />This was the date set for the receiving and opening of sealed <br />bids for the sale of approximately seventeen (17) abandoned <br />vehicles, seven (7) of which are valued at over One Hundred <br />Dollars ($100.00) and all of which have been stored at the <br />South Bend Auto Parts, 1802 South Main Street, South Bend, <br />Indiana. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice <br />in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which were <br />found to be sufficient. The Board was advised the Vehicle No. <br />13 was reclaimed by its owner and should therefore be removed <br />from the list of abandoned vehicles offered for sale.
