McCormick,..Superintendent, Non -Collusion Affidavit was in order and a 5% Bid Bond was submitted. Bid was signed by William A. Geyer, Non -Collusion Affidavit was in order and a 5% Bid Bond was submitted. Mr. Neil Shanahan, Manager, Bureau of Public Construction, advised that the scope of this project includes pavement work at the inter- section of Howard and Niles with removal of railroad tracks and the opening up of a cul-de-sac to through traffic on Camden Street to Western Avenue. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the above bids were referred to the Engineering Depart- ment for review and recommendation. OPENING AND AWARD OF BIDS - SALE OF ABANDONED VEHICLES This was the date set for the receiving and opening of sealed bids for the sale of approximately seventeen (17) abandoned vehicles, seven (7) of which are valued at over One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) and all of which have been stored at the South Bend Auto Parts, 1802 South Main Street, South Bend, Indiana. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. The Board was advised the Vehicle No. 13 was reclaimed by its owner and should therefore be removed from the list of abandoned vehicles offered for sale.
