286 <br />REGULAR MEETING JULY 16, 1984 <br />Mr. Leszczynski further advised that the Plat of Dedication for <br />Kensington Farms East P.U.D. Farnsworth Drive is for a parcel <br />of land for public roadway purposes in a part of the Southeast <br />Quarter of Section 31, Township 37 North, Range 3 East in the <br />City of South Bend, Centre Township, St. Joseph County, <br />Indiana, and being 30.00 feet by right angle measurement <br />lying on both sides of a centerline more specifically des- <br />cribed in the legal description contained on the Plat of <br />Dedication. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill <br />and carried, both of the above referred to Plats of Dedication <br />were accepted, approved and executed. <br />APPROVE CONTRACTOR'S BONDS <br />Mr. Ray S. Andrysiak, P.E., and Mr. Joseph J. Pluta, Engineering <br />Department, recommended that the following Contractor's Bonds <br />be approved: <br />1. Richard B. Gosbin <br />Retroactive to July 9, 1984 <br />2. Advanced Asphalt Pavers, Inc. <br />Effective: July 16, 1984 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the above Contractor's Bonds were approved. <br />APPROVE RELEASE OF EXCAVATION BOND <br />Mr. Ray S. Andrysiak, P.E., Engineering Department," recommended <br />that the Excavation Bond for Robert Dujardin d/b/a Dujardin <br />Oil Company be released effective July 9, 1984. Upon a motion <br />made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the <br />above recommendation was accepted and the bond released. <br />APPROVE HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill <br />and carried, the following three (3) handicapped parking <br />permit applications were approved and referred to the Deputy <br />Controller's office for issuance of permits: <br />Frank Wilk, 1212 California, S.B. <br />Arthur J. Bedore, 3917 Roxbury, S.B. <br />Ralph Miles, 830 S. Lake, S.B. <br />APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATIONS - OPEN AIR STAND <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the following license applications <br />have been received: <br />NAME: Josun Company <br />BY: John Zielasko <br />STAND TO BE LOCATED AT: 202 E. Ireland (Brite-Way lot) <br />DATES: 7/19/84 - 9/13/84 <br />FOR THE PURPOSE OF SELLING: Tropical plants & baskets <br />NAME: Hilltop Farms 3 Brats Fruit Stand <br />BY: Robert Thornton <br />STAND TO BE LOCATED AT: 300 South Logan <br />DATES: July 20, 1984 - September 31, 1984 <br />FOR THE PURPOSE OF SELLING: Homegrown fruits & vegetables <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that favorable recommendations on the <br />application of Josun Company have been received from the Police <br />Department, Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, Department of Code <br />Enforcement and Police Department Traffic Division.
