REGULAR MEETING JULY 16, 1984 K 2..87 .`:.'. 1 C Regarding the application of Hilltop Farms 3 Brats Fruit Stand to be located at 300 South Logan Street, Mr. Leszczynski advised that favorable recommendations have been received from the Police Department, Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and Police Department Traffic Division. The. Department of Code Enforcement advised that 300 South Logan is in an "A" Residential Area. However, because of the prior use of this property for open air stands and because of the location between two establishments zoned"C" commercial, it has been the Board's position to recommend approval of said location. It was noted that a letter from the property owner granting permission to locate the stand at the above referred to location was attached to the application. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above applications were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's office for issuance of permits. FILING OF CURRENT TAXICAB COMPANIES RATES OF FARE Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Clerk of the Board has pre- sented to the Board for filing the following taxicab rates of fare as provided by the following: 1. Yellow Cab Leasing Company P.O. Box 657, South Bend, IN $1.00 first 1/5 mile (or part thereof) .20 each additional 1/5 mile $8.00 per hour 2. Michiana Courtesy Cab, Inc. 517 E. Colfax Ave., South Bend, IN $2.00 Flag Drop .70 a Mile 10.00 a hour waiting time 3. Roseland Cab Company P.O. Box 643, Notre Dame. IN In City rate: $2.00 flag drop .80 per mile 12.00 per hour waiting time 1.00 per extra passenger charge Out-of-town rate: $2.00 flag drop 1.00 per mile 12.00 per hour waiting time 1.00 per extra passenger charge (the extra passenger charge is for passengers going to or from the airport, bus, or train. The extra is not charged to regular taxi fares where there isn't any luggage to handle). 4. United Limo, Inc. 10844 McKinley, Osceola, IN $1.00 flag drop .10 per 1/10 mile 5. Airport Limo 3801 Riverside Dr.. South Bend. IN $2.00 meter drop .80 per mile (at the present time limo service only).
