REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 16. 1984 <br />1 <br />1 <br />There being no one else present wishing to address the Board on <br />this matter, upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by <br />Mr. Vance and carried, the public hearing on this matter was <br />closed. <br />Further, upon a motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Mr. <br />Leszczynski and carried, the Clerk was instructed to forward to <br />the Common Council a favorable recommendation on the above <br />referred to street vacationsubject to any and all utility <br />easements. <br />APPROVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CONTRACTS AND ADDENDA <br />The following Community Development contracts and addenda were <br />presented to the Board for approval: <br />SOUTH BEND HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION <br />HUMAN RIGHTS RESEARCH PROJECT <br />The targeted goal or this project is to conduct research <br />aimed at exploring discrimination related issues in South <br />Bend.. The total cost of this activity shall not exceed <br />$3,100.00. <br />DIVISION OF REDEVELOPMENT.& ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br />MAX'S GROCERY REHABILITATION <br />The targeted goal for Max's Grocery Rehabilitation is <br />to make structural and exterior repairs necessary to <br />make the structure marketable (in continuation of <br />activity started with CD83-608). The total cost of <br />this activity shall not exceed $49,792.00. <br />ADDENDUM I <br />DIVISION OF REDEVELOPMENT AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br />REDEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION ACTIVITY <br />Addendum I turther clarifies budget categories. The <br />total cost of this activity shall not exceed $411,000.00. <br />Personnel costs shall not exceed $331,000.00 and non - <br />personnel costs shall not exceed $80,000.00. Additionally, <br />Appendix II has been deleted. <br />ADDENDUM.I <br />DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br />CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITY <br />Addendum I provides for a revised Timetable in the <br />following manner; costs may be incurred when the Agency <br />is notified to proceed by the Division of Community <br />Development. The activity shall commence on April 1, <br />1983 and shall continue to and include June 30, 1984. <br />ADDENDUM I <br />DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br />REDEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION ACTIVITY <br />Addendum I indicates a c ange in t e Program Budget. <br />The total .cost of this activity shall not exceed <br />$297,500.00. Personnel costs shall not exceed <br />$238,094.00 and non -personnel costs shall not exceed <br />$59,406.00 as described in Appendix II. Additionally <br />Appendix II was replaced with a new Appendix II. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and <br />carried, the.above contracts and addenda were approved and executed. <br />ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 7-1984 - SALE OF CITY -OWNED <br />PROPERTY AT 1506 & 1508 ORANGE AND 1519 LISTON STREET <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Vance and <br />carried, the following Resolution No. 7-1984 for the sale of <br />City -owned property at 1506 & 1508 Orange Street and 1519 Liston <br />Street was adopted: <br />
