M, • <br />REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 30, 1984 <br />APPROVE RELEASE OF EASEMENT <br />In a letter to the Board, Mr. Larry Bush, Mortgage Broker, <br />Stability, Inc., 508 West Washington, South Bend, Indiana, <br />requested a release of easement on the property located on Lot <br />6, Fairfax Estates, Second Section. He stated that this release <br />is needed in order to complete the mortgage transaction on this <br />property. He further stated that a house encroaches into said <br />7.5' easement approximately four (4) feet. Based on the above <br />request, Mr. Leszczynski.presented to the Board a Release of <br />Easement which was prepared by the City Attorney's office <br />releasing and terminating all interest in the above referred to <br />easement on Lot 6, Fairfax Estates, Second Section, South Bend, <br />Indiana commonly known as 5305 Monticello Court, South Bend, <br />Indiana. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. <br />Kernan and carried, the above Release of Easement was approved <br />and executed. <br />APPROVE REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR RECEIPT OF BIDS - <br />SALE OF ABANDONED VEHICLES <br />Ms. Katherine Barnard, Director of the Department of Code Enforce- <br />ment, requested permission to advertise for the sale of approximately <br />sixteen (16) abandoned vehicles, fifteen (15) of which are valued at <br />over One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) and all of which are being stored <br />at Hurwich Impoundment Lot, 1610 Circle Avenue.. It was noted that <br />all vehicles have been stored more than the thirty (30) days, <br />identification checks had been run for auto theft, and the owners <br />and lienholders notified Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, <br />seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the request was approved and <br />a date of February 13, 1984 was established for the receiving of <br />sealed bids. <br />APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATIONS - RUBBISH AND GARBAGE <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the following four (4) Rubbish and <br />Garbage license applications have been received: <br />Elson Shelton <br />922 North Olive <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Jessie J. Love <br />309 South Iowa Street <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />B&B Rubbish Removal, Inc. <br />55400 Pine Road <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Grayson R. Warren, Jr. <br />1505 North College Street <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />It was noted that inspections of the trucks to be used had been <br />conducted by the Solid Waste Bureau and all applicants were found <br />to be in compliance. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, <br />seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the above license applications <br />were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's office for N <br />issuance. <br />APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATION - OPEN AIR STAND <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the following license application has <br />been received: <br />Name: Dawg House, Inc. <br />By: Michael Elliott <br />Address: 3005 Prast Blvd. <br />Stand to be located at: 2113 Western Avenue <br />For the purpose of selling: food (hot dogs, sausage) <br />
